I just ordered that battery today for $111 on Amazon.
After my battery failed me the other week and my truck went haywire I'm not going to give the dealership a chance to give me another trash battery.
Good write up I will look this over again before I install it, thanks
For those of us without a scan gauge but torque pro is there a way I can monitor this temperature? I have one of those MX OBD adapters.
My old Prius I could see the temperature of every cell in the battery with an app specialized for them. I feel like with the Maverick I can't see very much of...
My battery just died and I jump started it. It accelerated on its own to 35 mph. The accelerator pedal has no effect on anything. From zero to the floor
Down hills id brake to 25, and let go it would immediately accelerate to 35. I'd say this is a safety issue.
I have put the noco on it in the past. I think maybe I should just buy the new battery that works myself.
I don't have the time to call ford and have it towed if it happens again.
Has anyone with a hybrid noticed this?
Mine finally died the other morning only 17k miles bought March of 24.I hopped in and the truck would not start. I put a jump pack on under the hood to the proper terminals.
It started right up but gave me every warning under the sun. Window after window...
I don't have access to forscan. I bought it as an app on my phone, but it does not work like the laptop version.
Maybe the dealer will set them at 95 in the next coming fix
I tried to save my last oil change and tire rotation. I did it many times and it would fail each time.
It's probably because I put notes. Oil brand, filter brand.
Maybe I'll try again
I will be paying more attention to when it does this. I have heard it sounds like that video, but its not always doing it. Only rarely. I have 10k miles since March with it. When it was new I had it give that lurch feeling after starting. It may be that damper piece sometimes sticks or something.
