It should have a recall. I just hope the new master switch installed in my Maverick is not of the same faulty batch. Lucky for me no rain was in the forecast .
Had the taillight recall done yesterday along with an oil change. Service told me it was done . While I was waiting for the truck they said it showed the check engine light. They did the update again and it is ok so far.
I bought the Tyger Auto soft roll up in January. Its available on Amazon . I went to the Tyger Auto sight and I found a 10% off coupon and paid around 185 delivered . So far it has been very good .
Had the same problem last week. After reading threads on the sight its the master switch on the drivers door . I told the service manager that when I went on to the dealer and after 2 hours thats what they did to fix it lucky they had the part . Its a known defect .
I just had my rear passenger window that was stuck down fixed on my 23 XLT 7,900 miles. It was exactly what was discussed here. When I talked to the service manager at the dealer he said he had not had any Mavericks with this problem. I told him I read it was 99% the master drivers switch ...
This just happened to my XLT . What BS Ford Knows about this its the same rear passenger window .I don't even have 8,000 miles on the truck and its a 2023. This should be a recall item .
Just go with a Horizontal screen and fill the stupid cubby. Add Sirius standard . Go with a spilt rear bench seat and have a radio upgrade for the XLT along with standard adaptive cruse control and blindside warnings. Make the 110 outlets a option and extend the bed 6 inches .
Just had mine done 23 XLT with 4K towing. It took the better part of the day and so far so good. In my day you just spliced the tail lamps for the wiring . Now with everything computer controlled its a nightmare.
It happened on my 23 XLT . The engine was running and I opened the door and closed it behind me and it locked . Lucky I have the keyless entry pad and was able to get back in . Now if I get out I roll the window down so I can reach in to unlock it .
I use the Motorola AA dongle with a Moto phone and it works good .No password required . It does disconnect once in a while but reconnects automatically. Its good for the everyday around town but for long trips it will drain your phone so I have to plug it in and than its just works on the usb.
