I picked up a FITS kit with some bed cross bars that I bought from a forum member. Can't use all of the items (and I like the dollar tree with FITS plug trash can better). Only using two of the under-seat dividers. I will post the stuff in this part of the forum at the same time I put it up in...
have the same issue with the Ford FITS trash can and all weather mats. Thinking I'm going to go back to the dollar tree trash can with a FITS plug I was using earlier.
I've now seen 40 other Mavericks, time to quit counting (not 100% sure if some are ones I've seen before). we now have 3 every day in the parking lot where I work, one of each model, and maybe even one of each year, have to check on that.
Mobile service came to my work today and completed this recall
Took less than half hour.
Whatever was done turned back on the seat belt warning chime, will need to turn it off again
The deezee brand on my maverick is great, slow drop. The off brand I got from Amazon on the old F150 doesn’t catch until about 1/2 way down
too much of a pain to take back off to return, and it’s a beater truck that’s 20+ years old.
I have also noticed my hybrid doesn't like 70mph AT ALL...........68-69mph is ok, but 70+ the mpg drops like a stone. I seem to get better mpg using slippery mode, but haven't tried different mode with the cruise control........have to give that a shot.........THANKS
Dealership sent tech to house this morning for this recall, which I got a letter for and shows for my vin online and in the FordPass app (recalls now showing in the app, they didn’t before)
Tech was unable to complete it, not sure what is going on. Trying to find out
the 36 count is from August of 2022............theyre still pretty rare down here. I believe more than half of those I've seen have been when traveling to Central Ohio.
I have now seen 3 dozen different Mavericks other than my own. Yesterday afternoon on way home from golf course. Area 51 XLT FX4 AWD heading north on 33 between the Plains and Nelsonville. Had Donwood Automotive decal on the back, so it might be someone kinda close to me.
22XLT, late build (august of 22)
I’d buy another without hesitation. Still waiting on the fire recall to be done. Super happy with the vehicle
40+mpg overall, not as good in the winter from running heater but still gets 37-38mpg during cold months. Hauls enough for me (washer/dryer, lichen...
really didn't need to cover it up as the door for draining oil is right there. (making the opening a little bigger will allow to drain oil without the "door")
That looks like the one on my 22 hybrid. I closed up the big hole and put doors and matches in to do oil changes without removing the shield. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/oil-change-keep-the-engine-shield-or-ditch-it.38411/post-751505
