You can also see scratches in the paint in the areas of the chips, and scratches/damage to the sheet metal.

Perhaps your vision isn't quite 20/20. This photo shows clear damage, in a circular/swirling motion, that extends from one body panel to another, and whatever caused the swirling damage also chipped the paint off the adjacent body panel. I'm not sure how you don't see/understand this.

Seriously. It seems so odd. The Navy Pier/Orange nonsense should be a package of its own, and they should offer black and gray interior options like normal vehicles. I can't imagine they are saving much money by only making most of the interior parts in that dumb blue color, compared to any...

Right - they are selling more than they can build even with the ugly poopy blue interior, they have no incentive to offer anything different or extra.

I'd guess they will save something like this for the first model refresh, likely 2025 or 2026. But who knows. If the cost of black interior pieces drops then they'll all be black whether you want it or not.

I'd be happy to see this over a BAP equipped Mav.

The body shop would be doing you a favor to return the vehicle to you without that nonsense.

The way Ford screwed up the XLT BAP, the Lariats will probably be 100% bronze inside. Good luck.
