Wow you guys using 87 are getting more mpgs than me at 89. Im switching to 87 stat and sticking with it. No sense spending 40-50Ā¢ a gallon for 89. I donāt have the towing package and wonāt be hauling more than some junk to the dump every now and then.
Whoah!! I gotta step down to 87. 89 and up cost a pretty penny more than 87 around here. I wish the modes would stay between shutting off and turning on the truck. I did find around town yesterday I was getting better mpgs in regular drive mode than I usually do in eco mode. For me I think in...
Iām up in cold NE, been in the 20s-high 30s. Running mid-grade 89 octane, driving 60/40 highway/city getting 23-24mpg and some change average per tank last couple weeks. Thinking about stepping down to regular 87 octane if it doesnāt harm mpgs or make the engine knock.
Anyone know a good set of mud flaps you can find online for the maverick? The driver side rear wheelwell liner extends 6ā less to the ground - what causes the road grime here in wintery territory to seep out between the taillight the the body. Mud flaps look like theyād fix that.
I was talkin to a buddy at work and he said the same thing, and Iām actually starting to think thatās a good point. He also made the point that if the light was tight with the truck it would crack the lenses if thereās any flex in the body and also if it was sealed it would enable a cavity for...
There ās definitely a lack of sealing or something there. I took my truck the car wash Thursday, then drove it a couple more days on wet wintery roads and sure enough that back left taillight was packed again with road grime.
Just got my Maverick a couple weeks ago. Iāve noticed when the roads are wet it looks looks like road grime is possibly seeping out from between my left tail light and the steel body panels. Anyone else experienced this? Iām wondering if a sealās not set right or if it maybe it got splashed by...
I was actually able to turn on my iPod touchās Bluetooth and pair it with the truck despite it being a 2009 first gen. Sounds great but only translates the play/pause, next/precious track controls to the fords radio. Control everything else on the iPod itself. I ordered a new 256gig thumb drive...
Has anyone had any luck getting older iPods to play on their radio or hooking up flash drives (up to a terabyte) into the USB ports and be able to play em? My first gen iPod touch says device unsupported when I plug that in. Thereās no aux Jack that I see. Iām pigeonholed into only using Apple...
correct, but what it actually lifts is just the rear of the seat pad. The front is actually like a hinge so it never really goes up or down. I watched a YouTube video of a guy with the power seats and his did the same thing so maybe itās just the set up with these Trucks.
Just got my Maverick this past weekend. Freakin love it! The ONLY gripe I have is the seat height, particularly the front of the seat. I bought mine without really getting to sit in or test drive first - thereās never been any sitting at the dealers to try so thatās that. Iām 5ā11ā and I fit...
