Just finished a 3000 mile trip out to Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. Temps ranged from about 82 to 117 (while driving). Elevations varied from 1,800' to 11,000'. After 17 days my average was 28 mpg :)
I have a sirius/xm subscription on my two vehicles. It includes sirius/xm on my phone as well. When I rent a car, I just connect my phone via bluetooth and listen all day long. I have unlimited data, so that's not an issue for me ;)
