Never had an antenna bend or break on me in 40 years. Not even the the thin, stiff wire type on my older vehicles. The one the Mav comes with is much more sturdy, and I've had no problems with it in a car wash. Much ado about nothing, methinks ;) Might check it once a quarter just to make...

Just tape this photo to your window. Had a cardinal that kept banging on my son's window once. Taped the hawk in attack mode to the inside of the window, and presto! The Cardinal never came back ;)
