Muscle cars were fast for the day, but not for today, plus most of them were fast because they had super-short rear ends, so they rode on the interstate at like 3500-4000 rpm.
Weight distribution hitches are an object of controversy on unibody vehicles - it might just be a good way to bend your "frame" (which you really don't have). They are absolutely outside of Ford's recommendations.
It's not like there's a red line over which the truck explodes. It's a little bit worse than being a little bit lighter. I suggest that you will have trouble with a 467 lb tongue weight staying under GVWR including cargo and passengers & gas. Also beware of trailer weights that are dry versus...
If there is a date code it will be dot printed on the bottle. Anything stamped on the bottle would be the bottle mold date. The UPC doesn't change day to day. Look for a 4 digit number, a "Julian date" like 4167, which would be the 167th day of 2024. There is no standard for this format...
This is key. You will only see a difference at wide open throttle, at less than that you can just push the pedal more. It's fairly certain that WOT is among the the worst things you can do to an engine.
I don't think that's an accurate representation. Advancing timing lets the ECU add more fuel to extract more power. The O2 sensor(s), lambda for you brits who we don't really have many of here, will trim fuel to keep you away from unburned fuel.
I'm sure you could increase the boost somehow, but that's the only way to get more HP from a gas engine - you have to put more air into the cylinder. There are no magic lost HP waiting to be extracted from the gas you burn.
My dealer picks up mine or does it in the driveway even though I bought it across town (because the idiot sales manager didn't believe me that the order bank was open).
What a cold air filter does: makes the engine louder so it sounds faster. That said, the car will train itself using Mass Air Flow and Air Inlet Temp sensors to fix the mixture. Unless you hit a hose I don't see how the 2 are connected.
Just as good for speed and mpg is flames for the side...
Something here isn't right. Either a defective battery or defective charging system that drove the battery to gassing. This just isn't a thing that happens.
"Service Engine Soon" shows up in my 2023 owner's manual twice - once for overheating coolant and once for don't fiddle with emissions equipment. Check your coolant level. Look for the engine warning light, a flashing one means don't drive. You might want to pull codes at an auto-zone or...
