  1. Tremor for overlanding, how good do we think it really will be?

2WD vehicles will drive down trails. 4WD is to get you stuck farther from civilization
  2. HVAC issues and auto stop/start problem

clearly either the compressor or the blending door aren't working. There is nothing that makes that AC not work in normal temps.
  3. TheDrive.com Maverick Tremor Review: You Can't Do Much Better

Looks like $31,600 USD is the cheapest you can get one for, which is XLT plus Tremor option only. That's a good price really, it's an XL plus a rear cubby, extra tie downs, rear arm rest, power tailgate lock, & I think the better dash screen.
  4. Hot bottom... keep fire extinguisher on board?

I'd have one if I drove around in dry grass in any vehicle.
  5. Steering Pull Drift Compensation (PDC)

I am a little concerned that this could mask a wheel alignment issue.
  6. Lariat Badging Lacking?

That would look good, but flames would still be better
  7. Looks like the Maverick is firmly entrenched in the future of Ford

Pretty clearly they could sell out Mavs with a $5k price increase, just look at used prices. We should be happy they haven't yet.
  8. My 2 cents worth on washing, waxing, detailing & my Maverick build

My cars get washed every couple of years whether they need it or not. (Salt is not an issue here)
  9. BPV delete kit - how to install?

It makes the car louder to make you happy; it isn't PhD-level activities
  10. Installed Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

It shouldn't, realistically this hurts nothing, but you would be well-served to remove it prior to sending it to the dealer.
  11. Installed Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

If only everyone woul do this, the world would be so shiny.
  12. Average wait times from "built" to delivery?

4-6 weeks, mine arrived prior to what the email told me
  13. Not as popular as we thought?

After my time on motorcycles, I was about sick of dudes (always dudes) coming up to talk about that bike they had, etc. I probably give off negative vibes that keep people away.
  14. What did you buy with your Ford Pass points?

roll-up tonneau at 15% off. My points took a couple of weeks to show up.
  15. Using Forscan to program 15mph minimum speed for cruise control?

I use cruise all the f-ing time and use it in school zones when I can. If you think cruise means not paying attention then you drive differently than I do & I guess I need to stay away from you on the interstate.
  16. Raptor style grille and pedal commander installed

Pedal commander just gives you a different throttle position input to the computer. So you can make it all jumpy like those GM V6's. Also half throttle can feel faster if you don't have a calibrated foot to push the pedal down further. You'll get more of a step-change input.
  17. Warranty package to cover the hybrid battery?

Hybrid batteries have shown to be much longer lasting than we thought they'd be. The manufacturers help this by not fully charging and discharging them. Taxis are running 250,000 miles on original batteries. I really think it's only an issue on the same level as having to replace an engine.
  18. Why can't I use Fordpass reward to purchase accessories?

My problem was not being able to ship it to the dealer but had no problem ordering rollup tonneau using points + money and shipping it to my house for $8.
  19. Lug nut torque

150 ft-lbs is pretty close to star-tight, tighten till you see stars. The friction of the wheel against the hub is what keeps the wheel on, not the strength of the lugs.
