Whipple or Steeda I believe has a cold air intake and a much larger intercooler. Not sure if you would need to have it tuned after the install. The biggest advantage is keeps the motor from getting too hot which can put it into limp mode. The term they use is it prevents heat sink

So here I sit Old fashion in hand waiting!
