My experience is the opposite. The 22 is the one that feels like it is working harder in the colder mornings(like it runs the ICE to warm up or charge the battery?). I haven't felt that in the 25.....yet
1,600 miles on my 25 hybird AWD with none of your listed concerns. The only issue we've encountered on our 22 hybird xlt, in 75,000 miles,is the grabby brakes that were tamed some by a software update.
I have 1,400 miles on the AWD truck now. Started off with a roadtrip (LA to San Francisco and back) so lots of highway miles in the beginning - 31mpg . Now back commuting to work where I am getting 42-48mpg. I'm hoping it will average out at 40mpg at some point. My 22 hybird has 74,000 miles and...
When I traded in my 2016 BMW for my 22 Maverick I could tell the dealer thought they were taking me for a ride.... I was doing cartwheels as they took it away !!!:cwl:
Yes , I enjoy driving my Maverick . It is by far the best commuter vehicle I've ever owned.
73,000 miles on the 22 xlt before giving it to my son. I like the 25xlt a tad more.
Here's my take on the change in mentallity. We have 3 in the familiy now. 22 XLT, 24 XL, 25 XLT. Functionally they are all the same. The new XLT cost 10 grand more than the 22. (this includes AWD)
Okay, here it is.. At the indroduction pricing, buying a Maverick was an absolute NO BRAINER ...
I was very, very close to making a case when my 22 hybird was in the dealer for 45 days. It was waiting for exhaust replacement parts. California has a very good lemon law that would have had Ford either refund the purchase price or replace the vehicle with a new equvilant.
I was fortunate...
Looks like if your truck has been in for repair for over 30 days it should qualify for your states Lemon law.
"
30 days presumption
• you took your car in for repair for one or more nonconformities within the Lemon Law Rights Period and the total number of business days which the car was...
If you are looking at soft trifold, My experience is you get what you pay for.
We have 3 Mavs in the famaily now. Bought a Truxedo at $500, Gator at $300 and an Amazon generic for $125. Functionally, they all get the job done the same. The cheepie latch is not as nice and the Truxedo has nicer...
I've been driving the 25 for a 1,000 miles now. The updated Sync4 is vastly superior to the old and relying on your phone for music is easier. Messaging from voice command works well. No buggy issues with maps anymore.
I use the lower phone cubby to charge but cord management is poorly...
Just did a road trip LA to San Francisco this weekend - 25 XLT Hybirid AWD. Had less than 200 miles on the odometer.
Got a smidge over 31 mpg. Majority of the drive was on Interstate 5 doing 70-85mph.
i guess it's close to spec.:)
I'm sorry for your cousin's loss and the emotional impact on your family. I hope She is safe and can find a place to live while figuring out how to manage moving forward.
I know of two friends that lost their homes in the Eaton fire. I had a difficult time even knowing what to say to them or...
