  1. Selling my 2023 back to the dealer

Well, that is too bad. Better off taking the hit and moving on.
  2. Introducing a new accessory: Tactical Seat Molle Panels

I'm trying to figure out how to adapt it to hold more groceries for my grocery getter.:D:rolleyes:
  3. Introducing a new accessory: Tactical Seat Molle Panels

Those tools ever been used, they look pretty newbie to me.
  4. New Decal

Signatures are not always straight. You should see mine. :D Looks good.
  5. If you reordered your Maverick TODAY… what trim are you picking?

XLT all the way for me. Mid range quality in almost anything gives you the best bang for the dollar spent. Given the bluish interior trim, I felt the Navy Pier seats went very well with it and also with my choice of Iconic Silver for the exterior. I found the color choice of the Lariat...
  6. If you bought Maverick again today… Hybrid or EcoBoost

Old Henry would roll over in his grave would he not?
  7. If you bought Maverick again today… Hybrid or EcoBoost

Another EcoBoost as it makes the most sense for me. I feel Ford is shooting themselves in the foot with this new mini EV, IMHO it is going to steal most of the hybrid sales of the Maverick. Instead we should be looking forward to a PHEV Maverick with good initial electric range. A PHEV...
  8. Introducing the Wolfbox SmartSlide: The Ultimate Electric Tonneau Cover for Your Maverick

Always works that way if seems. Line-X wanted $600 to do my Maverick, same price as a full size. They say set up time is the same, so the price is the same. I took my money elsewhere.
  9. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I had a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner with a V Code 440-6 that cost me around 3 grand. They're worth north of 80 grand now. What's that VCR worth now? :D
  10. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Yes, indeed. 100%. From AI: U.S. electric vehicle (EV) sales experienced a significant decline following the expiration of federal tax credits in late 2025, with sales dropping by approximately 36% year-over-year in Q4 2025 and 27% in Q1 2026, according to data from Cox Automotive Inc.. By...
  11. Son's Graduation Present

A "Hollywood shower" is a US Navy slang term for a long, luxurious shower with the water running continuously, acting as the opposite of a strict "Navy shower" (where water is turned off while soaping). Total length of time of water running varies according to ship but usually not to exceed 3...
  12. Who still has their Maverick purchased new?

Sounds like you got one just like me except for the tires. My Pirellis went to the dump at 9,350 miles. I was good with it, wanted 235 Falkens and finally got them. Truck looks so much better with them. 120 mile round trip to the VA today and low 30's for mpg. Can't bitch about that...
  13. Son's Graduation Present

I'm available for adoption. I'm quiet, go to bed early, don't eat a lot and never take Hollywood showers. :fingerscrossed:
  14. Fx4 sticker or no?

I paid for it, that's what my truck is and I want it. One hell of a nice package for only 800 bucks when I bought my truck. I don't care what others do to their trucks.
  15. This will be the last Ford I buy

What a bad situation to have to deal with. One needs to balance the affordability of getting rid of the truck versus the pain and suffering of keeping it. The water ingress is a real problem. Black mold is no joke. Very dangerous.
  16. RIP Lasfit tail lights

Well, I've jinxed myself now that I've shot my mouth off. :D
  17. RIP Lasfit tail lights

My longest lasting Lasfits are my backup bulbs which have lasted 2 1/2 years now but maybe i just don't backup a whole lot. :D
  18. Vehicle purchase hacks & tips here; it's long but detailed

No, sorry should have clarified. It is the State Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker. In my case I found a Ranger years ago that had an 8 for August and I was buying in Feb. of the following year. After sitting on the lot for 6 months the dealer was very willing to deal to get it off the floor plan.
