Mine left the plant on 12/31 (new years eve) on the train and arrived at the Shelbyville, KY ramp on 1/10. Its waiting to get trucked to my dealer. Its only 100 miles away.
I asked Ford chat for the rail car number. Im not sure how the railroad companies transition up north into Canada. Mine was on Union Pacific until st Louis area where their territory ends and Norfolk Southern takes over to come further east towards me. They stay on the same rail car...
Mine was tagged as "shipped" on New Years Eve. I used Ford chat a couple days later and they gave me the rail car number. The train car arrived at the drop off yard/ramp very early AM on Tuesday (yesterday) morning. Now it will sit there and wait for the auto transport truck to pick it up...
It's now arrived at the Shelbyville Norfolk Southern auto distribution center. Big rail yard full of auto racks. The train part is over, way faster than I expected actually. Now the maverick sits there and waits for a truck to get scheduled to pick it up and bring to the dealer. Final...
I checked on my rail tracking this morning. Now on NS after the switch from UP in St Louis area. Said it had passed through Princeton IN this morning at 5:24. I did my usual and looked up where that town is and low and behold they have a continuously running live feed of the tracks on...
The dates below in my signature kinda show the process over the past month or so of mine. The modules populated that list about a day before I got the "built" email. On NYE it was listed as "shipped". Ive used the railroad links on the forum here using the automated lines and checked it...
If you look at my signature I have the dates. IIRC the modules showed live on mine the 23rd of December. When I checked my train car number this evening it had made it to the big rail yard in E. St Louis. Not much longer to go now until it's delivered to the dealer. It still could get...
Mine was built that week. As of this morning its on the train in between KC and St. Louis. Been checking on the train location once a day. I live near Cincinnati.
Been checking in on the progress of the train car that has my maverick on it. As of this morning it's in between Kansas City and St. Louis on the UP mainline. Making better progress quicker than I expected to see!
I tried Ford chat for this and they just gave me my railcar number.....how cool! It's on a Ferromex auto rack train car. I'd assume being pulled by CSX since it's coming to Ohio. I see those Ferromex auto racks going by around here all the time since we live near a freight mainline.
who knows. I'll consider myself lucky. It should be about an exactly a year when it arrives from when I originally ordered it if the ETA stays true. I know a lot of other folks waited way longer than that.
I got a quote on mine using the VIN, My truck is shipped but I don't have it yet. It actually will be going down about $10 a month compared to my current '16 Escape.
Maverick looks great! I like that Mighty Max in your previous truck pics. Long time go I had a black Dodge D50 just like that that I lowered and had fun with. I sure miss that little truck. I still remember the pull handle E brake handle on the dash.....lol
I prefer to my own oil changes. I have plenty of tools and don't mind the effort. I get Pennzoil Ultra Platinum from Walmart and I get Motorcraft filters from the dealer parts counter......several at a time. I know what's going in and that all my bolts, oil filter, and drain plug are...
Got the email this morning that my Maverick is now shipped. Anybody else's along for the train ride? They give me an ETA of Jan 17-23 but obviously I don't have much faith in that time period. Delays more than likely will occur.
