Howdy, I didn't hear any mention of the catalytic converter, or it's location. I'd heard somewhere (probably here) that there are two converters. Any truth to that? and where is it(them) located?

Hey Peter, Thanks for your reply. It's the wiring that concerns me, and I don't want to void my warranty. I guess I'm going to have to live without Homelink and the auto-diming mirror.... It still amazes me that these weren't' included in the Lariat and XLT.

Howdy, it's pretty random. I just assumed it was the switch from gas engine. to electric motor. when letting off on the gas... Nope, I probably couldn't duplicate it. Thanks for your help!

Hey! What dealership did you take it to? How long did it take? Are you happy with them? i had an appointment at Sunnyvale Ford about two weeks ago. The service person was not familiar with the issue and i was told they didn't know how long it would take and they wanted me to leave it...

I bought a set of trays to fit in the center console from Amazon yesterday, and they arrived today. They fit great and really help with organizing the black hole.
