The rear suspension members look pretty rusty compared to mine. It looks like you never undercoated it and it's starting to show. Or is that red dirt all over everything?
Really? How does putting lots of non-crushable steel in the frontal impact mitigation zones impact survivability and extreme damage to the other vehicle? It's good that you don't design vehicles for real-world use.
If the charging system actually did its job and fully charged the battery, and if there was not another unintended power draw, then any cheap battery would do the job for a lot of years. They now put in AGM batteries to hide the symptoms until the warranty is finished, instead of fixing the cause.
The Ford app works over TCP/ip, so you can start the truck from anywhere on the planet that has internet access. Like when on vacation in Peru for example.
Anything that blocks free air movement at the back will promote rust, not prevent it. Just ask any GM owner what their 10 year old frame integrity looks like. If you want to stop mud from getting there, keep the blocker spaced well away from the body to allow it to actually dry out and buy a...
What are you going to hook it to? There is no solid frame in the front to weld or bolt onto. If you add one then you are compromising the survivability in an accident by stopping any member crushing from occuring, invalidating your insurance and maybe killing you. Yeah, we've heard it before...
Whatever you do with your new truck, check the 12V battery charge regularly. It probably was never charged from the time it hit a Ford warehouse until it hit the dealer 6 months later, so its already damaged from the factory. Its a problem for all models and years, but much more so for...
I'm confused. Why do you need a cover over the factory leather wrap? The feel is excellent. Its easy to clean. Any additional cover would take away from that.
Yeah, your battery is so sulfated that it cannot maintain voltage for more than a couple of hours. My 23 is on its 4th battery now, and it gets down to 12.0V after 3 days parked. The problem fix has still not been released by Ford after 4 years of repeated failures.
Both use a group 140r / t4 battery. You would need a new battery tray on the ecoboost to maybe fit an h6 size battery, and cut all the plastic trim as well on the hybrid. They're fitment chart it completely wrong.
If you have the dealership replace the battery under the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty then they are putting in an AGM battery instead of the original EFL one. You need to have less than 40% available capacity to qualift for a warranty replacement. An AGM battery is a bit more resistant to...
Some of the high volume fuel providers are not toptier, like Walmart for example. Others like Shell and BP only just barely meet the minimum top tier specs. It won't matter very much for the intake valves in the 25-up ecoboosts or the hybrids, but it's a big issue for d-i engines. Then there...
You don't need to do a TPMS relearn. Just drive it for a day and it relearns all by itself, the same as when you rotate the tires every year and it figures out which is which all by itself.
