Agree, the same with 23 XLT, terrible manual, some dashboard icons are not even shown. Tried to find how to replace the cabin filter, I guess this is a trade secret.
Thank you, I didn't realize they are here. I have seen Honda and Toyota hydrogen cars in Europe, and as I learned, the production of hydrogen home charging kits is located in Poland. They even have there hydrogen buses, and are testing now a hydrogen powered locomotive.
But why, the EV mandate is over, they got money to burn? I'd rather see hydrogen power they use in Europe and Asia. Safer than gas, and they still keep scaring us with Hindenburg stories. Different technology, no hydrogen in inflatable rubber bags. When tank is punctured and ignited, no...
Got the same email, went to linked website to see a great display of confusion and idiocy. First they advised to keep truck running during the update, then in the next paragraph said to remove all personal items and to run the update with engine off. Why take personal items out, truck will...
"Ford doesn’t instruct you to use 0w-20 because the EPA forces them to. That’s crazy talk. "
Just read that GM General Motors has changed the oil specification for 2021-24 engines 6.2 V8 L87 installed in Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado and Suburban where the 0W-20 oil is change for 0W-40...
I have luxury package and got remote start key FOB marked as compatible with my truck yhat can't be installed. FOB is a non-return item and is useless since it requires a "VSS module" that does not exist for Ford Maverick. The VSS function is built into BCM module that not compatible with Ford...
I have similar problem with Fort Pass App due to "low battery" issue, and wanted to use remote start FOB supposedly fitting my 2023 Maverick. See more here

Unfortunately this instruction does not work, because it is a part of VSS Module installation. In Ford Maverick all VSS functions were moved to BCM, so maybe there is a Forscan function to install remote transmitter?
Since I can’t use remote start from the phone App due to constant “low battery” issue, I found likely better solution. Ford Parts had 20% Off promo, so I got 2-pack of single button remote starter FOBs.
I regret I passed on the $14 key installation offer, seems that FOB installation has...
You can save yourself under the seat connection by going directly under the good to jumper posts. "+" is hidden under an orange cover. Check location in truck's manual.
Also, direct charge to the battery confuses truck's charging sensors, the cleaner way is to go from the jumper posts.
My dealer replaced in 2023 with third party AGM, but this worked for about 3 months. There is continuous battery drain issue, an I suspect charging issue as well. It doesn't matter how many hours I drive, and in about 30 minutes of parking I get the disabled battery message.
I tried all of that and had no effect. It appears that the 12V battery does not start the car and power comes from the main battery. I don't know how does the car fob communicate, is this BlueTooth or some other frequency?
I noticed "battery saving" in about 6 months on AGM battery, but it got progressively worse. Will check with the dealer on that issue. Short trips, long trips - it doesn't matter, battery saving is permanent.
Last year dealer replaced battery with aftermarket AGM, and now I am back to square one. The App note to drive a car for a while does not do anything. The same low battery message comes up after driving 150, or more miles. It does not appear that the battery is charged at all, or maybe at...
Sorry to see that, such a nice truck. The problem is a unibody construction, no frame, to make it cheaper. The damage in the photo not an issue for a truck on the frame, but with unibody, it must be totaled.
For me it was a good decision, I retired now, live on the mountain and 2023 Maverick saves me a lot of money. My mileage goes from low 38 to 50 MPH. Most of the time about 45 MPH on regular gas, so I fill once / twice a month. with 10,000 miles no issues. Handles well in Winter on a snowy...
