I purchased different stainless steel bolts, lock nuts, and washers at my local Ace, and made a backing plate out of some abs scraps I had laying around.
Thats a bummer! I really liked this one had I not bought the Ford roll-up. I wasn't too keen on the zip-lock style system. I had one like that in the late 90s.
Isn't your Keko under warranty? I would hope they have at least a 1 year warranty, and this clearly is a defect.
A little bit of a long story, but I needed extra length to move our daughter to college. I purchased a used generic bed extender on FB for $25, along with the Universal AMP mounting brackets on Amazon. It worked, but it wasn't pretty, and it didn't add much length. I then saw a genuine Ford...
There's a reason why the Ecosport is dead last in every comparison. I've never driven one, but I wouldn't have high hopes. I don't have issues with the ride of my Maverick. I think it's great. It definitely isn't as smooth as my Ram on the highway, but it doesn't have body roll in corners...
I haven't ever removed one. I would assume it's similar to removing badges. Heat it up a bit, and slide fishing line underneath. Dental floss may also work -- although breaks often.
I do not like the sound of tweeters firing up at the windshield. I unhooked my factory tweeters and put decent coaxials in the doors. It sounds 10x better.
I had this mirror in my Ram. I was unable to remove it before I traded (the allen head was stripped), so I just took the remote out of it.

This is my favorite style. I had one on my previous Ram, and loved it. It's easy to care for, and you don't have to worry about dents. I've seen way too many aluminum hard covers with dents.
Looks great. However, I definitely wouldn't trim the mechanism of a new $1200 tonneau cover, in order to make a 20-yr old part (that wasn't intended for the Maverick) to function better.
Glad you and your Maverick made it. I was going to say the same thing. If that's the worst, you need to hang out in the Midwest for a few years. We've had baseball-sized hit our house -- twice in the past 15 years. We've also had lightning strike at or very near our house twice (took out...
They say "July", so that really means "November". I have an alert on this intake also (from S&Bs website). I believe it was initially supposed to be March?
You live in FL, and drive 72-75 mph? I was there for training a few times years ago. Dang near had the rental car floored just to keep up with people on the freeway.
