  1. Line-X Topper

All Linex accessories are rebranded. That's not to say they're bad. They may actually have a better warranty.
  2. Ford Accessory Ranger Bed Extender Fits

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0041FVEAU?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I purchased different stainless steel bolts, lock nuts, and washers at my local Ace, and made a backing plate out of some abs scraps I had laying around.
  3. Just Installed the Keko Tonneau Cover

Thats a bummer! I really liked this one had I not bought the Ford roll-up. I wasn't too keen on the zip-lock style system. I had one like that in the late 90s. Isn't your Keko under warranty? I would hope they have at least a 1 year warranty, and this clearly is a defect.
  4. Ford Accessory Ranger Bed Extender Fits

A little bit of a long story, but I needed extra length to move our daughter to college. I purchased a used generic bed extender on FB for $25, along with the Universal AMP mounting brackets on Amazon. It worked, but it wasn't pretty, and it didn't add much length. I then saw a genuine Ford...
  5. Very Brief Ride Comparison

There's a reason why the Ecosport is dead last in every comparison. I've never driven one, but I wouldn't have high hopes. I don't have issues with the ride of my Maverick. I think it's great. It definitely isn't as smooth as my Ram on the highway, but it doesn't have body roll in corners...
  6. Weekend Rivian R1T

It's not bad from the back or side. However, that front face is something only a mother could love.
  7. Aeroskin and side reflectors installed

I haven't ever removed one. I would assume it's similar to removing badges. Heat it up a bit, and slide fishing line underneath. Dental floss may also work -- although breaks often.
  8. Aeroskin and side reflectors installed

Damn man! Was the installer drunk/high on that one? I've installed several of these. They are not that difficult. You peel and stick as you go...
  9. Alternate tweeter locations?

I do not like the sound of tweeters firing up at the windshield. I unhooked my factory tweeters and put decent coaxials in the doors. It sounds 10x better.
  10. Has anybody made a homelink/garage door opener module that fits in the useless cubby hole?

I had this mirror in my Ram. I was unable to remove it before I traded (the allen head was stripped), so I just took the remote out of it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284574303721
  11. 2nd Annual Midwest Maverick Meetup in Salina KS -- August 5

Middle of October sounds like a good time. :) Early August: 100 degree heat index, and people are getting kids ready to go back to school.
  12. Installed Ford Accessory Window Visors and Hood Deflector

Unless you smoke in the rain, just ditch the window visors altother. I had these on my first truck in 1995. I rarely see them now.
  13. Tonnopro hard flip tonneau installed

This is my favorite style. I had one on my previous Ram, and loved it. It's easy to care for, and you don't have to worry about dents. I've seen way too many aluminum hard covers with dents.
  14. Sport Trac bed extender fits nicely with the Maverick and an X4S tonneau cover...BUT

Looks great. However, I definitely wouldn't trim the mechanism of a new $1200 tonneau cover, in order to make a 20-yr old part (that wasn't intended for the Maverick) to function better.
  15. Survived the worst hailstorm in my life

Glad you and your Maverick made it. I was going to say the same thing. If that's the worst, you need to hang out in the Midwest for a few years. We've had baseball-sized hit our house -- twice in the past 15 years. We've also had lightning strike at or very near our house twice (took out...
  16. S&B Filters Ecoboost Cold Air Intake

True. I waited 300 days for my Maverick. What's another 300 for a good intake? :ROFLMAO:
  17. S&B Filters Ecoboost Cold Air Intake

They say "July", so that really means "November". I have an alert on this intake also (from S&Bs website). I believe it was initially supposed to be March?
  18. Mpg fx4 ecoboost sweet spot .

You live in FL, and drive 72-75 mph? I was there for training a few times years ago. Dang near had the rental car floored just to keep up with people on the freeway.
  19. Maverick A/C is 🥶

The whole A/C and even just vent blows more air on the lowest fan speed, than my Jeep does on speed 3. I'm not complaining.
