I'm pretty sure you'd have to trim a bit off a side, and possibly front or back. All of the aftermarket mats state they will not fit with a drop-in liner. For this reason, I found a universal bedmat on ebay for $60 shipped. It's huge. I cut it perfectly, and couldn't be happier. The plastic...
According to Tasca, the passenger side (Right) insulator is on national back-order. I tried ordering both, (Lincoln) engine cover and fasteners. I still ordered the driver's side insulator -- for a reason. When I drop my daughter off at school, I open my door (leave it open) while the truck...
One of the dealers in KC had one of these (saw the ad on FB), but they must have sold it already. I can't find it on their lot. Anyway, I think it looks pretty cool:
I just do not think a foil (topped) option is good for underhood. The heat will reflect back into the engine bay. Pretty sure my brother had issues on an older Jeep when he used similar.
I've been changing mine since I can drive -- unless it's a free dealer change. I'm also the only person in our subdivision whom still hand washes their vehicles in their driveway.
There's not a mirror tap on my XLT Lux (no wires going to the actual mirror). I already had the direct wire kit for my Radenso DS1, so I just ran it all the way down to the fuse box. It was simple -- didn't have to remove any panels other than the fuse box one. The headliner was quite tight...
I've had (3) Truxedo LoPros and (1) Gator Hybrid top mount folding cover. The top mount sealed much better than the flush LoPros. The LoPros look better. Another thing to consider, the Maverick's bed is tiny already, and the inside mounts stick in a good 1.5-2" on each side. Make your...
I wouldn't think the rear speakers received a full-range signal. I would think the extreme low frequencies are blocked? Thus, wouldn't it be best to tap the front door? This may be why it's not as "deep" as you expected. Looks nice and clean though.
I have these saved in my shopping list. They look great for the price. I had similar on a previous Grand Cherokee. The Brake pedal was a major pain there also. I actually had to cut a slit in a corner.
I came from a '21 Edge. I miss "silence". It was so quiet, you couldn't tell if it were running at times. Even at WOT, it was dead quiet. I also really miss the 12" Infotainment screen with Sync 4A and wireless CarPlay. Honestly though, I'd rather have physical knobs and buttons for the...
I like the Bronco Sports, but you have to get a Badlands or above in order to get the 2.0 EB. You're then pushing $40k and above with a few options. Pretty sure I wouldn't be happy with the 1.5.
I agree. I have to keep telling myself this is a $20k vehicle. Had I went from my Ram Tradesman to my Maverick, I'd be fine. My Ram was loud -- but it was a good noise with intake and exhaust. It also had very hard interior plastics. However, I made the mistake of buying an Edge in between...
Let us know how it works out. I believe the windshield is the culprit for most of the noise. Lariat owners could confirm. I previously had a '21 Edge (2.0 EB). It was dead-quiet. It didn't have a hood-liner nor engine cover either. It did have an acoustic windshield (and better sound...
