I have that Tear Tag. "HLHC" But it still does not show Built and the order update has not been updated for 3 days. Modules populated last Monday. It is Friday now. I guess it will get here when it gets here. After Built I was told it goes into inspection then transports on Rail to the Lords...
My Lariat status is "Build" as of 5 days ago. When I check the Modules nothing has populated. Sticker says 6400 out of 7400 build sequence. Do the Modules populate on the link when it is in production or has that link stopped working? When i download the document it doesn't open properly.
This is what I keep seeing. The mettle is not of high quality. And probably never gets hot enough unless you do long fast drives to drive out the inside moisture. Sooner or later it will probably rust out from inside also.

I have seen that rust is a problem with the Exhaust System. Has anyone ever painted the exhaust pipe and muffler with Stove Paint to keep it from rusting?
Stove Paint might be a good way to mitigate the rust problems. That paint has no problem with heat. This from a guy with a 11 month old Maverick.
I have seen that the Ford and after market hood bug deflectors are held on with adhesive tape. Ford adds $140 for the deflector, or about $100 for after market deflector. My observation is that the adhesive tape does not seal water, grime or salt from migrating under the deflector since there...
