I've bought two vehicles from Chapman this past year and both experiences have been great. So great that my sister will be picking up her Maverick Hybrid Lariat soon too!
Moved a couple of large pieces of furniture. The low height of the maverick bed makes loading easy. One piece was longer than the bed, but no issues leaving the tailgate down.
this would have been a pain in my old suv, but simple and easy in the maverick.
Maybe it hasn't been offloaded let and logged in? I didn't use that tracker, but I know tracking the train was notoriously fuzzy, I thought it was still on the rail car when the dealer called to say it was delivered.
Exactly, I'm not putting steel beams through there. This was a trim board that needed supported and would probably snap off the back. Other times it is that long piece of PVC for some sprinkler repair!
I just had a tank of mostly highway driving, maybe 90/10 - 95/5 (hwy/city) and averaged 29.9 MPG per old fashioned tank fillup vs. the computer which read 31.2. Just over 3k miles at the time.
Do you have to roll the cover up all the way, or could I say roll it half way, and secure it in place? I'm thinking of the times where maybe I have something a little higher sticking up but still want to keep the front portion covered.
I'm sitting around Mid 25's via the computer, so subtract about 1 MPG for real world (based on my fill up experience). My driving is about 60/40 city/hwy. 2.0EB AWD/4K/FX4 with the stock tires and just over 2k miles. So pretty much spot on.
I’ve seen several people asking why, especially since it is small. Here is why, I could have hung it out the back, but this was in the bed with the tailgate closed.
So here's my 2000 mile update. It took me a little longer to get there since It's been a lot more city driving. These are more just my thoughts after a month of ownership.
I'm averaging in the 24's with probably at least 60% city. Note that the on board computer is always 1 - 1.5 higher than...
I would definitely get the 4k, there is so much there that it is simple. With that said, it's only $800 more for FX4, so add that as well. If anything, the wheels are nice and the other couple of goodies makes it worth it.
