jsus has a good explanation of what it's like down here. In addition to the non-limited dealer fees and many other charges we get hit with down here. And it's also getting worse with the recently passed (at least I think it was) that doesn't allow manufacturers to impose restrictions on...
They said since it is powertrain, it should be covered under warranty. But until they complete the repair and I see the Zero invoice, I will be skeptical. They initially said it was a $190 charge to diagnose and could take 24-48 hours!
I didn't take a photo of mine, but I replaced them just after 30k. The wear was ok, but I got an unrepairable slice in the tire and the wear was down too much to replace just 1 tire, so all four had to go!
I have a 2022 XLT 2.0 EB FX4/4k Tow. I'm at about 39k miles now. While I've had some issues/glitches/etc... nothing too bad. However today I was told that my rear differential went bad and they are ordering the parts for it. They said hopefully in 2-3 weeks the parts will arrive and then...
I've taken my FX4 out on packed beach sand several times, there were a few soft sandy spots and did fine. I would definitely replace the tires and plan to change air pressure if I did this more often.
I was averaging around 28 combined, but within the last 6 months this has dropped to 24 without any change in driving, has, etc…. I now have 35k miles, 2022, xlt 2.0 fx4/4ktow
the mileage gauge is awful, I find it to be at least 2 mpg off when I calculate myself.
A few recent trips for me. I also moved some stools and flipped the cover up, and sone wheels but forgot to take a photo!
75” tv fits just fine! Maybe I could’ve bought the 86” after 🤣
It's even worse in some states as a law here was just passed which prevents direct to consumer sales and prohibits manufacturers from punishing dealers over pricing! Basically strengthening our current franchise laws and preventing manufacturers like Ford from even doing anything.
No, I haven't had an issue. I'm more on smaller roads with little traffic when I have this setup but I do make sure my side is clear before making any turns!
Removing isn't so bad, as once you remove the two top panels (about 5 mins or less total) which each have two shocks to pop out, then lift fully and slide out, pull down an put aside. The middle section then has four bolts, two on each side with a clamp to remove. Assuming you have the socket...
The radio in the Lariat is much nicer. My sister has that and it is clearer, maybe subjectively better sound and definitely much less glitchy.
I agree on the plastics, I bump the door with my keys in hand and there's a scratch :) It's an everyday vehicle and I'm always tossing stuff in there...
That Kayak is about 90 pounds. I've carried it and my 10 footer (40 lbs) at the same time with no issue. This is the Harbor Freight extender and it's pretty hefty. With the tailgate down, it is only supporting a portion of the weight. So I would say it could handle 10 foot lumber, but how...
