  1. New owner: ‘26 in *that* color

It was in the other thread where all the insecure guys were spewing junior-high jokes about manhood... https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/the-new-light-blue-2026-maverick-color-is-out.81313/post-1343437
  2. Side vent lighting

See the bottom of the page.
  3. Road debris damage and repair (I got lucky!)

Had the same exact thing happen last year, even on the same side. I bought the same parts you did and quickly fixed it. If only all damage was as easily repaired.
  4. Did I make a mistake with the Decal Delete?

Hey now, at least I have stickers! :D (Just kidding; I don't mind them on mine, but if they'd been removed by the previous owner, I wouldn't put them back)
  5. Did I make a mistake with the Decal Delete?

    2. You will probably get a lot of opinions around here in the land of stick-on letters and "old fart edition" badges, but I for one think clean is cool. :sunglasses:
  6. Auto shut off

Believe it or not, some people are intimidated by fiddling with their trucks' software. No shame in that, but it's a thing. "Kinda dumb" to ask that question honestly. Anyway, no one - including me - has suggested "buying everything" for one issue. Forscan is another option for addressing...
  7. Auto shut off

Because a $20 Forscan license will do infinitely more than just deal with that one annoying feature. But if people are intimidated by Forscan, or just don't want to do it - yes, there are several other options for handling A/S/S.
  8. Auto shut off

Enh. You make it sound like you've got to take modules out of the truck and ship them off overseas to get them programmed. Boot laptop, plug in cable, open Forscan, reset A/S/S setting, cycle the key, unplug cable, put computer away. It took me as long to type that as it would to physically...

  10. Is There A Way To Disable Auto Locks

There is no way to stop the truck from locking automatically when you are driving and reach a certain speed. It's page 69 in the PDF manual. The only related setting is for auto UNlocking when you stop and open the driver's door. You can disable that.
  11. New owner: ‘26 in *that* color

Hell yes. Love it. I think it would really benefit from a black vinyl wrap between the front and back windows like the XLT trims and above have. (Edit: you got the same comment twice within 30 seconds, so it must be true... ;) )
  12. How to remove four pin trailer plug? (Resolved & Final Results)

I am not sure that you remove it. It is part of the complicated puzzle of jamming that cover in there. Apparently I unplugged the connector, but it has been a while, and I can't remember what the benefit even was...
  13. Oil type question!

    In a nutshell, yes. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/search/6789843/?q=synthetic+oil&c[title_only]=1&o=date
  14. spare tire different

Same. I hate that I paid good money for a 5th Pirelli Scorpion (OEM on my year/trim), but I started with the "motorcycle tire" spare, so even a used Mickey Thompson would've been an improvement. :D
  15. Does Forscan allow for changing the crossover frequencies between the various speakers?

I get that there a wide range of skillsets and confidence levels around here, and I really do try to keep that in mind when I throw a recommendation out. :) The front doors are actually pretty easy, and it is hard to screw them up. A plastic trim tool or prying instrument, a couple of...
  16. Does Forscan allow for changing the crossover frequencies between the various speakers?

From what I remember, you can set each pair of speakers to certain functions like "woofer and tweeter" or "tweeter only" which I think will accomplish what you are looking for, though it is a very binary setting based on however Ford defines "woofers' and "tweeters." So no telling what the...
  17. This will be the last Ford I buy

Lol, Ok Mr. Lantern. You come off as a teenager who is disappointed with his dad's choice of Ridgeline. I'm sorry you are unhappy with your dad. The Ridgeline is a great truck. Not perfect, but an excellent choice. Someday when you are older and have owned more vehicles, you will be better...
  18. USB flash drive - sorting files

I've known people that just put their whole library on "shuffle," which would have a similar outcome - but there is no way I could ever do that. The potential sonic whiplash that would happen would just be too much. :D
  19. USB flash drive - sorting files

The only thing I know that you can do in Forscan related to this is to turn off the truck's ability to index the files. I am not sure if that will get you what you want, or if it will cause the USB to not even show up. The setting is easily reversible, so it may be worth a shot. The...
