I will creep up as you put more miles on it. I remember being disappointed with my 23 at first but it came up after after a while. I’m averaging 45 mpg now.and I’m happy.
I know some have complained about the angle of the drivers seat, mainly being too low or flat after raising the height of the seat. These raise the front of the seat up to 3/4”. They seem a bit pricey but they’re made in the USA from billet aluminum...
How big of a gap is there? You should be able to readjust it to split the difference between the front and back. Just loosen the clamps and slide it toward the tailgate more.
