I am trying to get lariat headlights working on my XLT. Can’t get the top LED to light up. I already wired it up, but no luck!

What does your PnP adapters for the headlight do? I’d be interested in a set for my XLT Maverick as I just purchased BAP lariat headlights.

Hi I got my headlights. I have been changing things related to the DRL in forscan. No changes. The DRL will not even illuminate!!! I’m trying to figure out what else you may have changed. If there’s anything else you remember please let me know!

Ah ok. I think that makes sense now. If I remember correctly, you said you did a LIN on the new headlight? I’m wondering if that’s what changes the BCM to stop sending a signal for the daytime running light to the low beam. Thanks for the insight and info!

I had mine painted when getting something else done and put it on the door. Looks fine to me. Wouldn’t have put it on the door myself if not painted.

When you say you enabled all DRL settings, did you do that under “easy mode” of the bcm or did you have to change “as-built” data. Do you have any screenshots of what you did? looking deeper, just changing power output from the connector isn’t all I should do. I need to change something so that...

Have you, or anyone who reads this, had a chance to compare the original T series (that caused hyper flash) to the new T3 series? They note that lasfit made the T3ms slightly dimmer due to brake light glare. How much dimmer are they?

Unfortunately FDRS isn’t as accepting as you’d think. It is limited to what that vehicle (vin specific) was equipped with from factory. You can enable dealer add-one but that’s about it. In that aspect, forscan is better. But I get what you’re saying. The diff with the lariat wiring is Pin 1 on...

I actually work at a dealer, and looking at the wiring diagrams, there is a dedicated DRL circuit out of the bcm for each headlight. They splice that circuit back into the low beam circuit right before the headlight connector. So my plan is to cut the DRL out of the splice, get a pin kit, and...
