I have the WeatherTech ones front and back, had them about 2 weeks now and I like them. The fronts are good, the rear the fit isn't perfect on the passenger side but it's pretty close. No trimming, but it was $180+tax/shipping So it came to about $200. Worth it as the factory carpet mats are...
It was worth it to me. The seats are great and the heated steering wheel is sublime. I do find the seats can make me sweaty if I'm too warm as they don't breathe at all. The auto climate control is nuts though anything above 70 is like the center of the sun. I keep meaning to grab an IR...
Sure is, Seems like a great way to go with a cheap efficient camper that you could go anywhere with very easily. Might be worth getting a camera for the back of the camper that connects to your phone for backing up if you aren't comfortable eyeballing it as the Mav has pretty small mirrors.
If you really plant the pedal the 8 speed is really annoying. It takes forever to choose a gear and then it's the wrong one. Standing start it works great but 50-70 passing is a chore. The 4 cyl sound is never something I will enjoy I prefer the sound of my 3 cyl fiesta any day or even a v6. I...
I love mine but I have only ever seen one other in the wild. I talked to someone on jalopnik that had one otherwise nothing. IIRC Ford claimed the take rate was 5% for that package so they didn't sell too many.
I have the pirellis and I have to say they have exceeded my expectations so far. I am surprised how well the awd system handles things. It's nice getting almost 2x the mpg my f150 gets and being able to park at the store and still get stuff in and out of it.
You must be one of the other dozen people in the US to have a Fiesta SFE. I've been trying to figure out how many they sold and it's not many but Ford never gets any real numbers back to me when I ask.
Glad you got them to figure their s**t out, the truck is totally worth it. I drove my F-150 today and I have to tell you it just holds nothing to the Mav. Credit where it's due, Quirk in Augusta has been absolutely amazing to deal with and we have a hybrid coming in there soon for mother.
Very nice! 16 days is crazy quick. The second Mav is scheduled to be built in 10 days (hybrid) so hopefully it gets that kind of transit time and not the 5ish weeks I had.
Truck is still for sale. May end up keeping it for a off-road toy and keep the stretches off the mav. CarMax offer was low enough that if it doesn't sell I'll just keep it.
Just my 2 cents here, having actually used the system in question, and having not had it in any previous vehicle that I dailied I can say it works very well. The front radar tends to get covered in snow easily, but that just disables the adaptive cruise. The rear radar sensors have not gotten...
