My EGR, purchased two months ago, have laser etched logo. It annoys me but I’m not going to replace them.

You will when the interior lights don’t turn on, the touch unlock quits working, or eventually when it won’t start. It’s all a progression but hopefully the “fix” next year works.
They charged your 12v not your hybrid battery. As stated this is a known and common issue with hybrid Mavericks. Get an AGM battery and you’ll be fine.
Mine is a daily driver, so it’s not low use and I still swapped it to an AGM because of this issue. For most of us typically starts six months after ownership.
