I waited 16 months for mine. 501 days. I think generally the more equipment you order on the truck the longer it takes. I decided to forgo a few options in the interest of speeding things along (as speedy at 16 months can be anyway). I am quite happy with the truck so far.
I donāt know that Iāll buy one. It was just a thought. No place to store it in the off season and other issues. Itās good to know how versatile the truck is anyway.
I guess more properly I should say a "gooseneck" trailer instead of a true 5th wheel. Of course, a 5th wheel from a semi would overload the poor truck from the git go. A modified type of hitch mounted in the truck bed to attach a gooseneck type of trailer would be possible I'm sure though, if...
Anything is possible I guess. They used to build RVās on the chassis of small pickups (tiny pickups) years ago. It could be a pop up style unit maybe or something of that nature. If the Maverick retains itās popularity Iām sure some creative genius will come up with one.
A thought just occurred to me while driving to the cabin thins weekend, and seeing a lot of big, 5th wheel trailers being pulled behind enormous trucks. Has any company come out with a pint-sized 5th wheel camper for the Maverick yet? It would be cool to see what they could come up with...
ššš. Iāll wave if I see you, if youāre parked anyway.
I usually stop and talk to other Mavericks if I see one in a parking lot. Thereās plenty of stories to swap.
Not to start a sore subject, but just curious, are there any reports yet on a Maverick on Maverick collision? Letās hope nothing bad happened.
I always think back to old stories of the two Model Tās in town getting into a scrape.
Be careful everyone! Happy driving!
I bought a yard swing for at the cabin and need to haul it up there. I was skeptical if I could get it in the box and close the tonneau cover. After taking the longer poles out of the box I managed to fit in in.
What has anyone else squeezed into their box? Has anyone actually tried the 17...
The truck is pretty cool in that the shifter isnāt mechanical but everything is electronic. I discovered you donāt need to put it into park when you park. It will put itself into park once you turn it off. The key wonāt go all the way to the lock position right away. Once it goes into park, just...
Youāre one of the lucky ones to get the 400W outlet in back. I originally ordered it, but we took it off the order because they said it was on back order and would take forever to get.
Sounds like the most popular things so far is ratchet straps and bungees. I concur with that, it's what I...
