Sad to see another Maverick down. Looks like you will be having funeral soon, but glad you are ok. You are in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Have friends in St. George and just love to see that part of the country when we go there every few years. Guess you will be sitting...
Congratulations. Post some pics of the Maverick Area 51 when you get a chance. Yours might be the lucky one with the extra-terrestrial in it. I hear it escaped NM:).
I do not see at that price much room for an ADM on a Lariat. I know my fully loaded Lariat was right at $36K, but that did include moon roof and SIBL. Even if it were more plain Jane, the MSRP is still going to break that $30K barrier, so my guess is that it probably has LUX, CP360, etc. My...
Probably one of the few times that it worked out better for someone who had to wait almost two months in frustration. You can now take that $4K less and spend it on gas for the Mav. Should take care of the gas for the life of the Mav LOL. Good looking truck and glad you are finally in the...
Like the other poster, I am a bit surprised about seats not being comfortable. I just did a trip almost 700 mi one way and only stopped once and that was for gas. After almost 12 hours, I did not find myself tired at all. I made the same trip in a RAM 1500 Laramie and was no more comfortable...
Wheels made that thing pop. Fortunately I have the Lariat and sharp wheels, so need to change. You are right about the color. I can never seem to figure out what color my Alto Blue is. My only complaint about it is that it loves baths. It seems every spec of dust is attracted to the truck...
Not a boring review at all - just common sense. I especially like your last line. If more people would just look outside the windshield, drive and pay attention to what they are doing, things would be so much better, but so many people have so much going on - from texting to everything else...
Looks like this camper has grabbed hold of MTC site. Buy a truck for $24-$28K and then spend 2/3 that amount for a slide in that does little more than give you a place to sleep. Some of the posts showing tent covers for the Maverick are much better at 10% of the cost or less.
Wishing you the best. I am sure they will try to hit you with the roughly $500 price increase that includes some shipping increase, but hopefully they will honor the DORA pricing like my dealer did. Just hope they do not try to do an ADM of a few thousand dollars. Let us know how it comes out.
Right on target. I am 76 and wife is not far behind. One of our favorite features is the perfect height of the vehicle. Our Kia Niro hybrid is too low and the RAM 1500 Laramie was like climbing stairs, even with running boards. We also love the fact we can reach what is in the back and not...
What is amazing is that in the "old days" - 50's, 60's, even 70's, people like my dad would say when one hit 50,000 miles it was on borrowed time. He was probably right with technology of that generation.
