Coming from a Corolla Hybrid, I can tell you the ICE engine runs until temp in car is met and then it will cycle on and off to maintain temp in the car. The Toyota heated up very fast, faster than a normal non Hybrid.

Look into Tune+ (tuneplusinc.com) he has a ton of tuning experience with 2.0 and 2.3L Ecoboost engines. I'm pretty sure he has a Maverick in hand now doing his magic to it.

I'd offer to let the dealer keep it in trade for something for your new Bronco. (Protection plan, new larger tires, accessories) they are going to mark up a Hybrid and if you can make some type of deal without having to purchase it you both win.

Someone released info back in June, 0-60 in 8.6-8.9 and said the Hybrid was faster from 0-30 than the 2.0L Ecoboost. take it for what it's worth.
