I was thinking about the Santa Cruz but liked the conventional looks of the Maverick much better so I went with that. Don't like the new face as much but still looks like a truck. Hyundai made less money on the SC than the Tucson so they dropped it. Unless Toyota figures there will be a net...
All wood has defects. You might go for years with no problem or it could split tomorrow. Plywood being engineered is less likely but it is still made of wood strands. Have a friend who used a piece of lumber with his press and I was there when it shattered violently.
I started getting some kind of a buzz from the passenger side. Since I was driving I just shifted the balance a tiny amount toward the back speakers and that took car of it. I don't use much bass though.
I've hauled the bagged stuff but I like the triple sawn stuff better. The place closest to my house sells a bobcat scoop for $29 which does not quite fill the bed. They just turn the bobcat at an angle and it goes in easy. When I get home I just hoe the mulch into my wheelbarrow- get about 5...
I've been told the wireless adapters are not reliable in many vehicles. My first one (external) failed after a couple of years. It almost seems better for them to be external instead of built in- much easier to swap that way and the new ones are small and cheap. If a built in adapter fails you...
My battery is never fully charged enough for the feature to operate. If it did I would buy the device to turn it off. No way thousands of extra starts does not affect systems.
I have an older car I don't drive much but I took it out yesterday and linked my new phone. Sirius seemed to play fine through the Bluetooth mode although I just tried it in the driveway. I haven't used that mode in a long time and figured out I had to hit the play button to get it to work.
Last year it went up a small amount but they changed me into a plan that does not go back to regular price after a year so I don't have to chat with them. The price will go up however. Next month it is going from $8.49 to $9.99.
I only use it for music and they have a lot of channels available.
I don't drive the truck that much but when you have Sirius you can also listen to it on your phone. I listen to it while walking and working around the house using cheap wireless earbuds. You have to contact them once a year and threaten to cancel so they cut the price way down.
Got this a few years ago because it was lighter and lower seat height than my previous bike. Easier to swing a leg over and move around when my joints are hurting. Rides a little rough- I may try to improve at least the front springs.
Changed a few in my time but the only way I would do it now is if I got stuck someplace with no cell coverage. I try to avoid those areas.
Has anyone used a consumer grade 1/2" impact wrench to loosen lugs?
If Pixel is meeting the Android requirements it should work or Ford should not advertise their product as being compatible.
As Android and Apple change their OS auto manufacturers should update their systems. Of course the phone suppliers can't make constant changes but they work with the...
CEO of Hyundai in America Jose Munoz never liked the Santa Cruz because they made less money than they do on a Tucson. It was developed before he was in the job and I'm sure he is pleased to dump it. He never had any desire to sell more.
I liked the SC when it showed up as a concept back in...
My Motorola finally bricked after a couple of years. I am trying this one but have just had it a few days:

I get that message every few months on my 23 Eco. This week I hooked up my 4 amp battery tender and it took a few hours to reach the full charge indicator on the BT. Drove it the next day and the start/stop was not working which typically means the battery has reduced voltage. Start/stop has...
I don't drive my Eco every day and I do get that message from time to time but have never had a problem starting it. The battery manager system does not allow the battery to charge fully and when I monitored voltage it drops pretty quickly as soon as you park it. I just installed a plug on the...
