Yes, I saw it - no surprise here.... broad appeal... utility, economical, good looks, relatively cheap - especially coming out of the pandemic when new cars are scarce and used cars are dear. You often hear the phrase it 'checks most or all' of my boxes. Ford has a winner and the pandemic...
My "second' in 53 years (not counting a couple of cars the ex bought). Before buying my '00 Tacoma, my record was never owning a car newer that 1970, nor paying more than 1K. I now have an order in for both the Maverick and a Bronco and think I might try to keep them both, at least for awhile...
69, retired Operations Director... mostly IT.
I think Ford marketing knew exactly what they were doing. They knew the truck would have wide appeal... so let's market to a tough audience (young independent environmentally conscious - the list goes on - .... women) and try to gain even more...
Just remember the constraints apply to today, or this week, not to 2 1/2 months ago. You might check the history of constraints - for example Ford stated on July 31 that the spray in bed liner "might be a possible constraint" because they could see that more folks were ordering it than...
Actually the term is: Unscheduled Clean. Same situation here. I ordered June 14th. My dealer is pretty insistent that I not change anything (I'd like to tweak my order and get the black painted wheels)... they are just not very good at explaining why. They _could_ change your order, but that...

THIS WEEK. Heh, ain't that the truth. Timing is everything. I have a June 14 order, Lariat Lux with a Bed Mat. My order is still showing 02 priority, Unscheduled-Clean.
Get what you want, otherwise you are playing whack-a-mole.
I agree 10-19 doesn't matter much, it's the regional Ford guy that has the power. I went from a 19 to a 02.... 3 or 4 weeks ago. And there it sits until they start assigning VINs
What kind of deal did you get with Sewell? I meant to check with Sewell Ford in Odessa, but ended up going with Granger.
Bronco order as well here, I think I'm going to push it to MY23.
I think it depends on your Priority status... at least my understanding. (This may be a clever way of discouraging folks from changing their orders every other day), but my sales rep told me that my Priority code is 02, which is assigned by the regional rep and means it is in preview (my Lariat...
