  1. 📊 Maverick Order Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

I think most dealerships understand that circumstances can change and make the deposit refundable.
  2. Ordering experience/please help me decide 2.0 ecoboost vs 2.5 hybrid

Well I've heard torque is good at the low end, but not the high.... thus the 2K towing limit. For towing or off-road, I think I'd look for a completely different vehicle. But with torque I think we'll just have to drive it ... or maybe drive an Escape to get a feel. It does have a sport...
  3. Ordering experience/please help me decide 2.0 ecoboost vs 2.5 hybrid

Ford has been working with these transaxles since 2005. Ford modifies them every 4 years to make improvements. Here is a detailed youtube video that shows three generations. I think it is a solid drivetrain. There are also 2021 Escape hybrid videos on youtube that will give you an idea of the...
  4. 2022 Maverick Trailer Towing & GVWR / GCWR Guide

Interesting that you can flat tow the hybrid, but not the Ecoboost.
  5. 📊 Maverick Order Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Forget MSRP. Granger is giving 3% below invoice plus 180 doc fee, 45 tag fee. My build was 25,300 including fees. But it's better just to send your build to Albert and let him quote you a price. Taxes and tags are state dependent. Albert/Granger are a pleasure to deal with and are setup...
  6. How are some of you guys already placing orders?

I highly recommend Granger Ford, their model is built on hassle free buying at a discounted price. The ordering process was quick and easy -- and done on a Sunday no less. Albert must like to work, or it's the last push to retirement. ;)
  7. The Maverick Interior Is CHEAP Hard Plastic

Probably Doug DeMuro's video....? - he covers the interior in depth.
  8. 📊 Maverick Order Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Maybe the topic should be changed to 'Have you Ordered a 2022 Maverick' as the reservations really don't mean anything. I ordered my Maverick from Albert of Granger Motors today. What a pleasure doing business with Albert, Granger. These folks have this down. Ordered an XLT, hybrid, Lux...
  9. Maverick Technical Specifications Sheet - What are your reactions?

Here is what the Forbe's article said -- which I assume it is right since Ford orchestrated all of the PR. "The multi-position tailgate can hold 400 pounds in mid-position and 500 lbs when fully open."
  10. Ordering experience/please help me decide 2.0 ecoboost vs 2.5 hybrid

I'm going to sound like your Dad. :D But with a growing family and 95% of your needs - the Hybrid is a no-brainer. Save money up front and save on enough gas to make up a good portion of your monthly payment. For the one or two times a year you want to go off-roading - rent a Jeep or a...
  11. 4K Tow Package vs FX4 Package

For your use it sounds like you don't need either one - especially since you have 2 capable tow vehicles. Why not go with the hybrid motor and get fabulous mileage?
  12. Ordering experience/please help me decide 2.0 ecoboost vs 2.5 hybrid

I think the value in this truck is the hybrid motor and the 2 lower trims. If I were going to tow or go off road much, I'd be looking at other models (maybe the new '22 Ranger for the bump in capability). I live in the southwest, so take it with a grain of salt, but my understanding is that...
  13. Age of targeted Maverick Buyer

69 here and seriously considering an XLT w/ Lux package to replace my aging but trusted '00 Tacoma. My gas bill would drop by half or more. However I also have a Bronco on order - so juggling that decision. I'd like to get them both.
  14. Maverick Technical Specifications Sheet - What are your reactions?

It may be time to give up the old Tacoma. Crazy thing is, these first gen Tacos are popular and easy to sell. If I had to tow or do much off roading I'd look at a different vehicle. I think the real value of this truck is in the hybrid setup. Amazing value.
