Your cheat sheet is a good idea. Along a similar path, I put tabs on the pages of the manual for those things and a few others, like how to get to the spare tire and where to place the jack.

Or you could make your own racks, or have a fabricator make them. I recognize that mine are only for someone not using a tonneau cover. These work for me.
