Us XL owners don't get a rubber mat in the middle at all. I hope they eventually offer the orange one (or any color) since it seems like good protection down there.
Just to clarify for anyone reading this, you do not need the paid internet hotspot in the vehicle. It has a limited connection always active for free to work with the ford pass app.

Yes it fits perfect, a little long on the sides but just adds more coverage. It's not the prettiest thing, but it's super easy to unhook and store under the seats if I ever need humans back there instead.
Also the one I linked comes with 2 seatbelts that hook into the car's slots.

That's exactly what I did, it has actually helped with her anxiety on drives as well. I picked this one up cheap on Amazon and it's actually super good quality. Also it would match the interior quite nice if you have an XLT with the orange accents.
