Ordered from Peoria Ford on 8/7 and still no confirmation or order number, so I'll be giving the sales manager a call Thursday (or maybe a visit). I would think after 6+ weeks, they should have a number of some sorts for me to track.

Cool concept, however you run into the limitations of RPM / MPH limits, at least on a hybrid version. My current Fusion Hybrid will not run via battery 1) if there is not enough stored charge 2) if you are exceeding 43 MPH. Even with the MPH factor, you must be on at least flat or downhill...
