I had someone tap my door with their car door. Luckily it only left the tiniest of dings. I ordered some side moulding and used it along the edge of the tailgate. I moved the tonneau cover towards the tailgate. That worked pretty good for me.

I'm pretty sure the Permatex was the one that worked... I had tried a couple different ones from a discount auto store and they didn't hold more than a month each. Each time I had to scrape and clean the glass real good before I tried them. It was a real pain... but so was hitting a pot hole and...

I had a Dodge Challenger that used to do that... I would go over a dip and the mirror would pop off. I had to try a couple different glues made for that before I found one that worked.

True... I was curious how hot it got since the felt covers on the Ford hard roll-up tonneau came off. Ironic that something meant to be in the elements doesn't stand up to the heat. Granted .. the heat has been a little excessive in Texas this year... but they started coming off at the beginning...

I tossed a thermometer under the tonneau cover. WeatherBug said it was 103. It was 121 under the tonneau.

I have the Ford version that are overlay design. No wind noise at all with windows up. They were one of the first things I added. I had in-channel previous truck I had and I had wind noise on those also. Maybe the overlays are a little more aerodynamic.

Looks great! I wonder if someone makes an overlay for the emblems that might match your wheels. That would really make it pop.

I did make the emblems black using Plasti Dip a couple of days ago . I like the way it turned out.

Love my Alto Blue... Great color. I sent my wife a picture when I found it at the dealership. It hadn't been cleaned up yet and it was cloudy. She thought I was getting a black truck.
