  1. Ford Customer Service Update

Take a look at Tech Revolution on YouTube that came out today. "Good bye to the 2023 Maverick."
  2. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

Have you seen Tech Revolution on YouTube about ten minutes ago? He is talking about Ford stopping all the Mavericks as they cannot keep up with the demand. Watching the segment on Tech Revolution about how the CEO of Ford stating that in the next few years Ford will lead the electric market...
  3. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

What you said is correct, as that is what Tim Bartz: FordVideoGuy said as well. Your deposit was only $499.00 that was a deal! (Free is best) Most people paid $500.00 I paid $1500.00 and I had seen one member paid $2000.00 down. Yuck!
  4. Ford Customer Service Update

Humor helps too ease the pain! :)
  5. How many of you are moving on after getting cancelled?

I am glad that you are happy with it. It looks like a cool little space ship, not a little truck. Ford is doing a great job selling the Santa Cruz for Hyundai! Ford are you getting a cut of the sales from Hyundai?
  6. SSM posted for Hybrid Maverick brake problem: Brakes Grab During Light Braking When Applied At OrBelow 6.2 Mph (10 Km/h) -- 10/21/22

My favorite part was the beginning: "Ford knows about it and is working on a patch." Did Ford "know about it" before the 2021 - 2022s models were even out to the customers? Crossing their fingers that the customers would not find out until all the orders were finished. (No time too fix bugs...
  7. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

You know, right or wrong your reply was so nicely put together! I enjoyed reading it. I was thinking about how many Fords that I have owned and it was two. A 1989 Ford Probe and a 2007 Mustang. Then I was thinking about how car makers like to bring back old model names and I thought: "Why did...
  8. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

I looked at the ultra few Mavericks for sale in British Columbia, Canada and the dealers have them marked up $10,000.00 over the price. To pay anything over the 2022 price for a truck with nothing is just stupid! So no I will wait, thanks.
  9. Winter Tire Setup: Matte Bronze 18" Euro Design TECH wheels with Michelin x-ice snow tires

If Ford let's us down with our orders, we can always just go back to the old dog sleds. :)
  10. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

Oh' don't get me going on that one! As I "really" wanted the Velocity Blue paint. I had to change over to Area51 Blue just too have a lighter blue colour. (I am tired of seeing black, gray and white) With everything going on in the world and Ford; why the dull colours?
  11. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

I agree with you about the price increase! My 2022 Maverick with all my options was going to cost me $31,405.00 everything said and done. Then the move up to the 2023 model and a price increase to $34,230.00 (A jump of $2,825.00) Then Ford.ca tells me that they will not build my hybrid truck...
  12. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

Wow, people are getting hot! I have not come across any "Political crap!" I did read some miss understandings. Was your comment aimed at anyone or the whole Maverick Club? Just for a case in point: Ponyprez was lamenting the good old days of our youth and KFBR392 said: "No offense taken."...
  13. backorder on accessories..ugh!

Thank you. Something good too read.
  14. MUSLOGY - Products are shipped from China

When one of my sons was born, I was able too stay with my wife through the delivery. The nurse handed my son to me I opened his blanket and I looked him over. The nurses and doctors looked at me. I smiled and then I said: "Good no made in China stamp on him!" Then we all laughed! :)
  15. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

I would love to see "Made in America" come back and I would be willing to pay the price increase for it. (As the costs are just going up anyways.) At least I would know what I was paying for was worth my money and that I would get it on time. Everything from China is crap and we know it, but...
  16. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

Send your mudflaps/splashguards back to Ford and then they can make someone else's Maverick. :)
  17. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

That's a nice idea... I felt that way when I placed my 2022 order. When my 2022 order crashed and burned. I was changed over to a 2023 order and I still helded onto the hope of getting what I wanted. When the 2023 order bank closed and the talk of the 2024 orders started to roll around, I...
  18. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

Thanks, keeps me from going "Maverick Crazy!" I hate Toyota and Hyundai! I want my hybrid Ford Maverick and thats it; here I wait... When and if I get it, my plan is to drive my family all around the country in the summertime. Nothing beats the old old days of summer time road tips in the back...
  19. Update: 2023 Maverick scheduling starts October 20. [Current key constraints: Hybrid, splash guards]

My 2022 order has been pushed back so often and I dumped all of my options, even the floor mats. Ford could just ship me the truck body and the parts and my dealer could put it together. But being Ford they would loose some important bolt or something shipping it up from Mexico as too screw...
