The "Blue" handle is what, "I" was hoping on install... ☹
I was NOT looking forward to removing the inner panel.. Later this summer, when all my other things have died down... I may have to take it off to see...
I wonder, if the "Handle" is attached to the rest of the panel with screws or...
There is no Number for the handle, on this plan. But, I remember seeing a more detailed one. I too thought about painting...
Update.... Post. #14... It is NOT a separate item...

I wanted to change mine (Black/Grey -2022 XL) to blue.
But, found out the piece is "heat-welded" to the rest of the handle.. :cautious:
I DID find the Right P/N to get a Blue console insert..
If it wasn't such a pain, I 'd take mine off and swap ya...:ROFLMAO:
Jerry
Yes, I could see the issue..
The Maverick's door sill is Higher than what my Three Rangers had...
I had to "Learn" to "Step-Up" when I enter and leave the truck.
Which was a "Bad thing"...
"Good thing"... the Maverick has "Door pockets".. which is something my Ranger's never had... 🤗

Not going too..
Matchbox only does single color for that years' release..
These Maverick's (MY2023) 2025 - "Azure Gray" and 2026 - "Cactus Gray" are from their "Moving Parts" line..
Both Colors are way... off.
The 2025 version is more "Area 51" than "Azure Gray"
Interesting to see...
Just to be clear....
The Rear area is Called....
(American) = Trunk / Trunk Lid.
(English) = Boot
To the OP... I would assume the glare is certain times of the year and for how long...

The spooling up sound, was more pronounced in my 1985 Ranger. (Gave it a 2.3 L T-Bird motor. Back in the early 1990's).
I can hear the 2.0L's a little.... But, the smell is still the same... 🤗
Jerry
not to be a pain..
Could you pull out the light and take a photo of the area behind.??
Purdy please.. 😄
Or If I don't forget, I can take MINE apart to see what is back there.
I have a feeling it is ALL Plastic.. ☹
Jerry
I don't have that, since.. I have a "lowly" XL. :ROFLMAO:
Then, again... I have been "OPERATING" MY motor vehicle for almost 50 years NOW...
