Are you referring to a cover for the manual? Or like a plastic insert in the glovebox that makes compartments? And what cars/trucks would you find them in?
I got an aftermarket document-holder type thing that I’m using for the manual, registration and inspection documents, and assorted other...
That is a good idea if you very rarely have backseat passengers. Much easier to pull the seatback forward without the headrests hitting the back of the front seats.
Well, just thought I’d mention it, because many people have no idea it’s possible to get a damage claim paid by the government from something caused by the condition of a road.
Thanks, @2handsipper ! Please go to the top of this thread and submit on the poll that you are registered — We’d like to keep track of MTC registrations so we can make sure we get our free tent to gather in.
If you’d like to replace the Lincoln emblem with something Ecoboost-engine appropriate, I found these metal emblems that fit in the indented area of the Lincoln emblem EXACTLY.

Agree with the trifold softtop, which is what we have.
More affordable, and easily handled by one person to take it off or put it on as needed. (Lightweight, and easy to stow in the garage … Or even in the bed of the truck if you are out and about and need more room in the bed for something...
Hmmm. Poll is still showing just one “already registered” (That’s me.) — Did you hit Submit? It should show in boldface what your answer was, if you did.
Great! Please go to poll at the top of this post and submit the fact that you are registered … So we can keep track of how many are signing up, and know when we hit 25 and can get the tent.
EVERYONE ELSE: When you register, please record it in the poll. (Even if you initially submitted a...
A thought: Did this “fist-size chunk of pavement” come from an unrepaired pothole or other lack of road maintenance?
If so, you MAY be able to get some relief from the state, county or municipality where the road is located … whatever entity is responsible for maintaining that road.
Every...
It’s a little bit of a quirky system. Not always immediately obvious where you’re supposed to be.
Here’s their office number — open Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm —

Yeah, I was a little hesitant to commit, since we already have a busy schedule doing our British car thing, and will be going to the Carlisle Import in May.
But what the heck … Might as well throw in full bore with the Fordies.
We stow our four folding standup grocery bags there, two on each side.
I’m linking below to these GREAT ones that we got six years ago. Very sturdy. Fold flat, with built-in cloth-covered plastic bottoms so they stand open on their own like boxes to load. And they’re washable.
Highly recommend...
Do it! We've got one guy planning to drive down from Canada and camp in his trailer down the street. This potentially could be a real blast of a weekend....
Every car/truck enthusiast should attend at least ONE of these kinds of events in their lifetime.
And hey... we can even go see the...
Thanks, I just caught that typo and fixed it before seeing your post. (Everyone needs an editor ... And I are one for a living ...)
And yes, I think we can make quite a splash if we turn out in numbers. If we get just the minimum 25 to get the tent, that would be great ... But I bet we can...
You can come and go as you please, any of the three days. They don't lock you in! (Although they do encourage you to stay put. …)
Unfortunately, though, there is no one- or two-day showfield registration It's one price, whether you go one day or three.
This will be my first time at the Ford...
Some of you "Great Lakes" Maverick guys are close enough to be interested in attending the Maverick Truck Club gathering being organized at the Carlisle, Pa. Ford Nationals show coming up in June.
