  1. Semi-DIY medium/low profile bed rack

This is what I have figured out for the bed box. It will stick out the back of the truck about a foot and a half, I'll put some reflectors on it just because, maybe a flag so I don't walk in to it... The Landing Pad 1 fits the Elevate rails, the Skyline towers fit the Landing pad 1, the round...

  5. Cargo Basket and MPG

There is a noise consideration when you put a rack on the roof. I'm looking to get bed rails for my Maverick so I can put my Yakima bars on them and a Thule box on the bars. Skis longer then about 165cm will not fit in the bed, even at an angle. The catch is I have the hard folding tonneau...
  6. Semi-DIY medium/low profile bed rack

Great picks! How did you screwdown the rails, the bed is kind of narrow inside (2.7 CM, about an inch) did you drill through the upper and lower steel body? What did you use to seal the screw holes? Is this a 6 pack or 12 pack job?
  7. Bed rack that works with hard folding tonneau?

I'm kind of regretting ordering the hard folding tonneau cover, I need a rack system on the bed so I can but a clamshell for ski's on it. They just are not out there in a low profile that will work with the tonneau cover. Anyone know of a solution?
  8. Consider Scheduling You Ford Maverick Oil Service Sooner Rather Than Later

Back in the day the practice was to run the new car/truck for 1000 miles and change the oil, then after every 3000 miles. I have a little over 3500 miles and will get it changed soon. Oil is better today and the manufacturing process is better. Don't find flakes of metal in the oil like was...

  11. Camper build ideas for a Maverick with a top

Building anything out of wood is "HEAVY" so remember you have 1500 lbs total. That's people and stuff. If you build something with wood it will be from 200-500 lbs. On Youtube search for "truck drawers" lots of videos, that will give you ideas for the drawers. Generally the camper does not...
  12. License Plate Position.

I have a Thule swing away 4 bike bike rack for 2" receiver. When I put it on I didn't notice that the beam covers the license plate completely. I did not want to get pulled over for the plate being covered. 1/8 inch drill bit. With the Thule on the truck. The door for the trailer lights...
  13. What do you (will you) miss from your old vehicle in the Maverick?

I can't get ski's over 140cm in the bed of the Maverick. My 156cm, 178cm, and 180cm will not fit. My 4 door Jeep wrangler of 14+ years was great for ski's. I'm going to put bars on the bed and get a clamshell box and bike rack for the bars.
  14. Did I just start my truck??

I heard if you press that button the rail car gets a flat...
  15. Billiebars

I heard back from them. "Looking at that cover, it looks like added weather stripping would be needed; or possibly some trimming on the tonneau cover rails. Our brackets go between the truck bedside and the tonneau cover rail, and are about 3/16” thick. Most people that have to trim, only trim...
  16. Billiebars

I'm not worried about the folding of the cover. I need to put a box on the bars to hold my skies. If I need to use the bed I would remove the bars and fold the cover. FYI I sent them the pic's today.
