Another thing they didn't mention is the maverick has a wider back seat by 2 inches. Important if you have a family of 5 like I do. Also the maverick will fit in most home garages.
Maverick has done well so far in the bad weather but it's the tires mine came with snow rated all terrain tires. Maverick does not have a transmission manual mode but it you tap the brakes the transmission will downshift to slow you right down.
So I had a 2014 jeep wrangler jku.
Things I miss:
- able to go over curbs/ ruts and not worry about the front end.
- heated mirrors! I live in the great white north!
- heater from hell. The 3.6 Pentastar had a great heater to the point the kids would tell me it's burning their face lol.

My Mav is way quieter then my 2014 jeep wrangler jku with Goodyear Wrangler AT tires that it replaced.
My Mav did come with 17" wildpeaks AT tires so I do notice road noise
