Same here. From Atlanta, bought in Pennsylvania, $1,200 below MSRP...and a great little 2 day vacation ride.. Dealers are supposed to deliver with full tank of gas so my pickup costs was near zero after free full tank of gas and 690 mile drive.
FYI - Just took in the Hybrid for the emission software update recall and asked about the oil leak causing fires recall, that was awaiting parts, and was told Ford is still waiting for parts for the engine fire recall...Also had 2 recalls that needed to be done that I have never received letters on.
I've had at least 8 vehicles with sunroofs and have NEVER had a single one leak.
This Maverick sure looks like the sunroof was left open or tilted up during a heavy rain. The Maverick OP sunroof is hard to tell when it is fully closed...it is easy to leave it cracked, unless you can hear the...
Joint policy (3 auto's and home policy). Almost always save by having home & auto's under same policy). Looked up and my savings on wife's Honda was $160 every 6 months.
When approaching my Am. Family Life (Costco) Insurance I told them I was shopping for a new policy and might be making a...
Wife is not a big driver in her Honda......so at least I called my insurance company and changed her annual mileage to 1,200 miles a year...cutting her insurance premiums in half...and submit a photo of her odometer each year with her renewed license tag receipt.
Have had several collector...
I have not been able to find a bug deflector with an upright angle to protect the hood and windshield from tiny gravel and bugs. SO, I bought 3M type clear vinyl off amazon. Dont remember the name but it was $10.+ for 6 inch by 120 foot roll. Would take a picture but you can't see it. Wet...
Before ordering I was assured it had an upright angle to better deflect bugs from the windshield. It doesn't! Asked to return and they told me to just throw it away since shipping was more than their costs...which I did.
My Honda Element and Landrover had upright bug deflectors and both...
Have a Porsche Cayman S and have had the plastic door panels off on the Porsche and the Maverick to install some wiring...and the Porsche leather seats are of a higher quality over the Maverick, but the plastic door, dash panels, etc. seem to be of exactly the same quality plastic...can't do...
I'm old school I guess, but the penny measurement has always worked for me.
See Google instructions below:
Regarding rotating front and rear tires, if you have FWD like the Hybrid...rotating tires pays off. My Costco does rotation for free. Also, my Ford Dealer has special oil change deals...
In 2021, I ordered my Hybrid the first week Build&Price thread for the Maverick was available. Build&Price allowed me to place an ordered for a Hybrid AWD and Ford accepted my order. Two weeks later my dealer emailed me that Ford had decided to not proceed with production of Hybrid AWD since...
Ordered both a EcoBo and Hybrid, EcoB as a company work truck. If the EcoB was 4x4 I might have kept it, but found the AWD of the EcoBoost was just not that more effective where I drive.
After a year didn't need both Mavericks so the MPG and comfort of the Hybrid won, so sold the EcoB. Hybrid...
Long time Honda fan...still have a CRV and Element....BUT this weeks news reports MAJOR number of recalls for both Honda and Toyota. Honda is having fits with 3rd Party electronic components.
After 20,000 miles on a Maverick HYBRID, one very minor recall on the rear ceiling air-bag.
Bummer to have damage to your Maverick- New door and front finder + paint and labor are not cheap...would love to hear what your estimate for damages are. My guess is no less than $8,500
Based on your recommendation order our Dashcam few minutes ago - with coupon it was like $75.00. Thanks for...
May be too late if the "delete project" is already started...but I'd look seriously at some of the bed pull out shelving for the bed. I have shelving on wheels in my bed and the shelving is waterproof & where needed padding in pelican type cases available in all types of shapes and sizes that...
BMW Motorcycle has 32* warning and it was pretty important on 2 wheels when riding over mountain passes. Mini-cooper and Porsche both have it and I was surprised on mountain passes several times in a heated car and not aware roads were freezing. It is a very simple and cheap device. But the...
I have the economy version of tonneau - Gator Tri-fold...2 1/2 years and no water is getting in. But cover came with a rubber self adhesive trim piece that attaches to the bottom of the tonneau. and so for has kept all water out.
