I wouldn't call that a spoiler. It looks like it's designed to protect the roof from things you have propped up in the bed leaning against the roof. It doesn't looks like it even pretends to do anything with aerodynamics. (It's actually probably more useful than a spoiler.)

They're obviously federally mandated for the manufacturer. You, as the consumer, are allowed to remove the warning tag from a mattress, you know. It says that right on the tag. I assume the same applies here. But when I'm driving my Maverick, I don't spend any time gazing at my sun visors...
