I have that one and love it. It doesn't leak!

    And it was expensive.

You do not represent all humans. I am a human and I use them when they're warranted. How do you think AI learned about them, anyway? AI doesn't create punctuation. It mimics what it has seen.
  4. Article - Next gen Maverick is very important to Ford

Free if you don't use one. :)
  5. Article - Next gen Maverick is very important to Ford

I've been working as an editor since 1990. I don't use AI.
  6. Article - Next gen Maverick is very important to Ford

There's no such thing as a "long hyphen." There is a hyphen, an en dash, and an em dash. Most software (such as Microsoft Word or Outlook) automatically converts two hyphens typed together into an en dash. In Word, to type an en dash you hit Ctrl and the minus sign. To type an em dash, you hit...

  10. I bid you all Farewell

I couldn't be happier for you. I have seen multiple instances of people having multiple issues with hybrids in this very forum, and I have certainly seen more hybrid-related recalls.
  11. After 2 years, I’m back!

State gas taxes fund a lot of stuff. Hybrids don't use as much gas, so hybrid drivers don't contribute as much to the state. States add fees for hybrids to compensate for the difference. They do the same for EVs. Hybrids and EVs cause as much wear and tear on the roads as ICE vehicles do. Why...
  12. I bid you all Farewell

Because some people aren't interested in hybrids, period, and "similar" is not "same."
  13. FA-1939 air filter

A link would be much more helpful than an image.
  14. Symbol of a red triangle with an “!” In the middle of the triangle

One thing I liked about all my previous Fords (the latest prior to my Maverick is a 2001) was that they used full English words on all the buttons instead of symbols or truncations. I always hated how GM used "gage" instead of "gauge" dating back at least until the '80s.
  15. Planning to buy a Maverick.

  16. Planning to buy a Maverick.

If it's from the factory, it is not truly full size.
  17. Planning to buy a Maverick.

It will not fit, which is why Ford doesn't offer it as an option. There are multiple topics in this forum where people show the modifications they made to get a full-size spare to fit. I don't know if it comes with the holder or not, but I doubt it.
  18. Does anyone know what this is?

That's the tab that is supposed to activate the forum search function.
  19. Planning to buy a Maverick.

They do not offer a full-size spare. The "conventional" spare is larger than a donut (wider wheel), but not as big as the four wheels/tires that come with the vehicle. Also, its diameter apparently doesn't match any of the wheel/tire combos Ford offers. It is for emergency use only.
