The instructions have an option for with or without drop-in bedliner, but nothing for spray in.
Clean the top of the bulkhead
to install the bulkhead seal (D).
Peel the backing and adhere the seal
at the edge of the bed opening.
If the truck does NOT have a
drop-in bedliner, use the 3/4”...
I dropped my truck off yesterday to have Line-X sprayed in. I told the counter-person that I was installing a tonneau cover, and I didn't want the area below the rear glass sprayed. Evidently, the customer isn't right, and I was told it would work fine and when I picked my truck up, sure...
I ordered a '23 Lariat and purchased a '22 XLT from Gary Yeoman's in Palm Bay. They honored my X-Plan pricing and I have no complaints. They treated me well when I had my Focus serviced there too.
Using the German torque method (Good-und-tight), or snug plus a little, you you roll the dice on how much tension is on the wheel stud and thereby the axial (clamping) force on the wheel. The good news is there seems to be a pretty big range which is acceptable. If you calculate the force...

Coming from a Focus ST, I get in, tap the dash, then fumble to get the key out of my pocket... After that, I revert to my Suburban programming and reach for the column shifter which isn't there, lol.
The issue with using anti-seize, or any lubricant for that matter, on wheel studs is that it changes the coefficient of friction. When you use a lubricant, the torque required to acheive the required axial torque is much lower. It is simpler from a manufacturing standpoint to standardize and...
Yeah, considering black since it will match no matter what, thinking the blue might be off too much.
I'm actually kinda old and had these seat covers in a half a dozen trucks over the last 25 years, mostly 80-96 F-Series. Kinda looking to make this truck an homage to Fords gone bye haha!
So, I've been pretty set on getting saddleblanket seat covers, and am torn between blue or black. Truck is Carbonized Gray.
What's y'all's thoughts?
