Just turned 5,000 miles last night on the way home. It's a '24 XL with AWD and trailer tow picked up on April 3rd. I like everything about the truck, especially the fuel mileage verses power. To ensure long life it's on it's third oil change already. I will drive it until the wheels fall off.
Why not just keep the Tesla and buy an older used small pickup for when you need to scratch the itch? Rust free older stuff is all over Florida and by keeping the Tesla until the wheels fall off, you'll get more of your moneys worth out of it.
I don't need an ego/manhood boasting big honking Tonka looking truck most of the time but when I do, my '97 extended cab 8 foot box 2500 Cummins 12 valve Dodge fits the bill (about 700 miles of trailer towing a year). I have larger trucks that would run over and crush these owner ego boosting...

I want to spray the underside in oil before it see's any road salt. We've had constant storms/salting for the last two to three weeks. Fortunately when it was delivered Tuesday it was on the top tier of the car hauler.
