Well, I tried moving the temperature up to 80 and there was at least a five second delay before the AC light came on, so then I moved the temperature slider all the way to high shut it off and restarted and the AC light seem to stay off, so Iāll try that for my next few cycles and see if itās...
OK, I tried turning the fan all the way off and stopped the engine. However, when I started the engine, the AC was on again so that didnāt work. Iāll have to look and see if thereās anyway you can actually turn the temperature off. Iām thinking you can only turn it up and down.
Yep. Sucks. They definitely did something different on the 25s. I was hoping to be able to test it with the new scan gauage 3 that I just purchased but unfortunately it looks like the scan gauge doesnāt power up till the engine comes up so I canāt tell if thereās any kind of a delay before the...
Interesting. However, they shouldāve put a 10 or 15 second delay after the engine starts. That way, the engine isnāt struggling to turn over the compressor before it fires up. :(
OK, so yours behaves the way that I would expect it to, the way it should act. Looks like maybe on my 2025 Maverick 2.0 XLT they have changed it for some reason which is rather dumb because the last thing you want on startup is to start it under the AC load. :(
Every time before shutting down my engine, I always power the AC off. However, every time I start the engine, the AC is automatically on. I donāt understand why this is happening. I would assume that the AC State should be the same at startup as it was when the engine was shut down. anyone else...
Anyone out there with a 2025 Maverick 2.0 XLT successfully using a scan gauge 3? If so, are you able to display engine and transmission fluid temperatures?
Well, you had better luck than I did. I ordered one and connected it, and it said that my Mavericks software was not compatible. Just sent it back for a refund. :(
