  1. Car Wash Issue

I run my 22 hybrid XLT through the car wash at work. Comes out cleaner then it went in. I will occasionally use some spray and wax stuff afterwards. Does it maybe cause some micro scratches? Maybe. Don't too much care. It was my 1st new vehicle purchase and I like it enough but I will...
  2. $80,000 Maverick?

Looks like something a dumb high school kid would do to a vehicle. 80k? Haha! No!
  3. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

I've done the TSR changes, at least I think I have the correct but the TSR doesn't work. Been on the autobahn plenty but there is so much traffic and construction that most areas are speed restricted. Also found out that the Maverick hybrid will start reducing power after extended high speed...
  4. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

I did this: 720-13-01 9100 0001 8000 720-13-02 0110 1000 and it worked to get rid of the seatbelt screen at key on. I took my belt off while driving and got the red light on the dash but no chime which I am happy with. I wish I could get the TSR working though. I am in Europe and every great...
  5. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

Mine still does it a little bit on occasion. I haven't done anything about it. Hasn't been bad in a while. 2022 hybrid.
  6. How much did you pay for yours?

2022 XLT Hybrid with lux and CP360. $28,045.50 including shipping to Germany.
  7. Video: 2022 Maverick Hybrid 2 Year Review - Would I Do It Again?

Agree. Definitely no interest in the headache rack thing of the bed slider thing. I am indifferent on the grill. Wheels and tires look nice but I have an XLT and the stock wheels are fine on that too. I am getting near 2 years on mine but only 14,000km. Haven't done any of the recalls and I...
  8. Power reduction on extended high speed driving?

I haven't noticed issues at 70 or 75mph either. Really only seems to be an issue during periods of driving at 90 or 90+ mph which isn't common or legal in the states. I am sure someone has done it though. I never saw the temp gauge move when I had the issue. The truck just didn't want to...
  9. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

I did message them in the past and was told that since I was overseas. They couldn't help. I've just learned to live with it.
  10. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

Mine still does it. Same behavior pretty much just on the first time I stop when the ICE has started and is warming up. Only once has it actually surged forward while my foot was on the brake. Most of the time it is fairly mild pulsing. I have learned to keep my foot hard on the brake on my...
  11. Power reduction on extended high speed driving?

Could be. I have Forescan and a cable but wasn't connected. Do you know if that is stored in the history?
  12. Power reduction on extended high speed driving?

I've had my 2022 hybrid maverick for ~1.5 years now and I have experienced the "typical" issues (wonky slow speed brakes, radio freezing, etc.) but I had a new to me issue happen last weekend. I am in Germany and was coming back from Czech last weekend. I was on the autobahn without a lot of...
  13. The REAL HYBRID MPG

Makes sense. The number does change more frequently than a "lifetime" number would. I don't drive all that frequently and the fuel cost for something that gets 30+MPG is pretty negligible for my little driving so it is just a curiosity. I did run a bit of an experiment the last couple of...
  14. The REAL HYBRID MPG

I have a 22 Hybrid and haven't reset the trip meter since I got it. 6.4l per 100km works out to ~37MPG which isn't surprising as Ford states to expect 37MPG combined. This is real world driving (mostly road trips) and I am thrilled with it.
  15. Sounds like bad hubs?

Sent my VIN. The sales place doesn't have a service center that I know of. Vehicle is in Germany.
  16. Sounds like bad hubs?

2022 Hybrid Maverick with about 6,000 miles. Someone borrowed the truck and told me it sounded to them like it needed new brakes because of a scratchy metal sound. I hadn't noticed before but next time I drove it I left the radio off and I do hear some sound like my old old truck made when the...
  17. Oil change cost - Canada

My oil change reminder came up after a year at ~8,000km (I don't drive a lot). I made an appointment at a local Ford dealer. The next day, I got an email that the dealer cancelled the appointment with no other explanation. I found a place that would do it next day and it cost me $90 US. If I...
  18. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

Seems to be a relatively common issue. Mine still does it and I haven't done anything about it. Only one time has it been so bad that I really stood on the brake HARD to keep the truck from moving forward.
