I ordered my '22 Lariat HPR on Jan 27th at the last few minutes before order banks closed. Never heard a peep from Ford other than confirmation email on 1/27, until an email on 9/9 stating my Maverick will go into production on week of 9/26. It was built on 9/30 and shipped on 10/2 and ETA at...
You are starting to see the Bronco Sport on dealership's lots. I saw four at a dealership for sale. I stopped a couple days later and they were all still for sale at MSRP, no mark-up or add-ons. They were dealer allocations, not customer ordered. No Mavericks or reg Bronco's but just a matter of...
Gullo Ford in Conroe advertises no mark-ups or add-ons on their vehicles. I have read on this forum someone from the Woodlands bought a cancelled Maverick off their lot and there was no mark-up.
My Maverick XL Eco 2.0 CP360 A51 was 69 days from order to delivery. I ordered on 11/30 and got confirmation email before I got off phone doing order. Got "in production" email in less than 48 hrs on 12/02. Truck built on 01/25, shipped on 01/28 and delivered to dealership on 02/07. Really like...
Didn't have any financial or paperwork dealings with Helfman. They just handled the delivery from factory, pre-delivery inspection, state inspection and transfer title work. I just picked the truck up there. I had to do all paperwork through overnight mail with Chapman in PA. Chapman Ford...
Never trust Demontrond. I tried to order a Maverick last November and they said over the phone MSRP + TT&L only no ADM. When they filled out the contract it had all those same add-ons you mentioned and I told them I did not want those and was told "We put it on all new car orders" it's non...
I sold my 2020 Buick Encore the same day I ordered my Maverick XL 360CP on 11/30. I received my Maverick on 02/07, so it was not bad for me as I went 69 Days without a vehicle of my own. I got 1K more for my Buick than my OTD price on my Maverick. Hope it works out quick for you.
I've only seen one in the wild. I was in Kingwood, Tx in my Maverick and he was pulling a trailer with his Mav. We were in a parking lot so we stopped and chatted.
BINGO! I totally agree. Dealerships are an outdated concept. We need to enact laws that allows automobile manufacturers to sell directly to consumers. With the current market, finding a dealership that sells at MSRP with no mark-up is becoming increasingly more difficult. Good luck!
That looks really nice. I'm thinking of getting my Maverick done, but done by professionals as I have zero confidence in my ability to be that meticulous, plus time consuming. I got a bid of $625 with 5 year warranty. I will probably get the SIBL first. How long did it take you?
Wow! Sorry about that. It seems to me that more and more of these pre-ordered Mavericks are getting ADM and/or useless add-ons. I know there are a couple dealerships where I live that were selling their cancelled ordered Mavericks on their lot for MSRP back in Oct, Nov and such, but now sell...
I got an offer from Carvana and Vroom. But Carmax requires you to bring it in because it is to new. You have to text Carvana and ask for a manuel appraisal and you will get an offer. Here is my Offer for Maverick XL w/ CP360 2.0 Ecoboost.
I'm just going to say Ed at Chapman did me right. They gave me price protection, I ordered on 11/30 and my Maverick was delivered on 02/07 and the only thing that went up was the Doc fee a few dollars. I was also told about this in January. The only increase on my sticker from 2021 to 2022 was...
This here^^^. I also think some believe they paid MSRP but with some kind of useless dealer add-ons worded as something like "appearance package" or "dealer package". I have been told by several dealers that they don't do mark-ups only sell at MSRP but also has an added 'This or That package'...
