  1. 2026 Loaded Lariat Hybrid Delivery This Year?

I’ve had 3 mavericks; 2 were custom orders. First was a cluster f**k during Covid and original production. Second order was late summer 2025 and was smooth as could be. Meaning, I think Ford has it down on their end and experience will come down to selected dealership. I’d go buy the one 170ish...
  2. Passenger Wiper Not Returning to Home/Rest Position

Thank you, but that is part of the problem they will not return to the park position
  3. Passenger Wiper Not Returning to Home/Rest Position

I appreciate that information. This is a 2025. I wonder if there is a similar issue?
  4. Passenger Wiper Not Returning to Home/Rest Position

Edit / SOLVED: Took truck into dealership. They had removed wipers when they fixed a vent that was rattling. The tech didn’t reset the wipers properly. They took the truck into the shop 10 and in 10 minutes had recalibrated the wipers. Hi Mav fam, any feedback would be appreciated. I know...
  5. Building a Luxury Ranch version of the Maverick - by Landon @ Korf Ford

I’ve had 3 Mavericks. Two OG ones- FX4 and a Hybrid. Now a 25 AWD Hybrid. The rattles drive me bonkers. Of course ā€œwe can’t duplicate the issueā€ when I take it in for service. I’ve also owned over time 3 F150s & 2 Escapes. This Maverick takes the trophy for rattles.
  6. Building a Luxury Ranch version of the Maverick - by Landon @ Korf Ford

One of my main disappointments going from XLT -> Lariat. The seats are so hot, not even perforated. Our F150 Lightning Lariat had cooled seats, most Lariat trims on other models do as well (I think). Okay that and no driver auto-dimming mirror.
  7. Keys can be locked in the truck.

I do this intentionally. Between FordPass app and security keypad, it’s nice to never need to carry the key around. Sure it’s a small safety concern but I’ll take the risk.
  8. There’s 2ļøāƒ£ traction control modes šŸ›ž (AdvanceTrac)! 2025 Hybrid

I have a 25 Hybrid AWD Lariat. Found out if you hold down the traction control button that’s below the e-brake lever, it will turn off ā€œAdvanceTracā€ (an advanced stability control system- I think). And this icon displays: Normal traction control:
  9. Upgraded to 12" SYNC 4 touchscreen display from Infotainment.com – My Thoughts So Far (review)

I hate that you cant turn off the screen on 25+ Maverick. "Calm Mode" still keeps the screen lit-up and shows the clock. I'd love to simply turn it off and maintain the bottom HVAC controls. The entire instrument cluster display and new larger screen are not the best the more time I spend with...
  10. [How-To] Install & Program a Keypad for your Maverick

Thanks for info. Was looking to see if these were battery powered for 25+ years. Looks like they are. I've had the SecuriCode system on every ford and lincoln i've owned. Our escape Titanium had a hepatic/touch version built into the door frame- very sleek and nice. As with other disapointments...
  11. Dealer tried to decline warranty for required repairs.

I considered that route, but I didn’t want to keep their loaner more than necessary and opposite, leave my truck with them while it all played out. I even took my spare key fob when I went to get it, in case I decided to take my truck back if they wouldn’t release it. On that note, if you are...
  12. Dealer tried to decline warranty for required repairs.

I agree, and that was my issue. Software is now 100% a critical component of safe and proper vehicle operation. Even more so when there is no alternative to diagnose or correct the software without dealer intervention.
  13. Dealer tried to decline warranty for required repairs.

I love cars and rarely keep them very long. So no, I never had issues. Ford’s- 20 Escape Hybrid, 21 King Ranch F150 Power Boost; 3 Mavericks- 22 FX4, 22 Hybrid, 25 Hybrid; 23 Lightning F150 Lariat ER. Non-Ford: a 22 Tesla Model Y, 23 Kia Telluride, 22 Chrysler Pacifica, and 23 VW ID.4.
  14. HEV transportation electrification fee in WA state

CO charges us essentially property tax for vehicle registration, based on MSRP, weight, year, and a few other things. No hybrid but BEV fees, $50 flat. Ours was just under $900. Also, we’ve been subsidizing big oil for decades at the pump. So the argument that these fuel saving cars being...
  15. Dealer tried to decline warranty for required repairs.

So… I got this message every time I’d select Reverse gear. We just sold our 2nd car to get something else so we’re down to only the 25 Lariat AWD Maverick pictured here. Shorter story is the dealer had this truck from Monday, over the holiday and finally got it back today, Friday. They gave...
  16. Bronco Sport has features Maverick could use!

OK, I’m venting mostly, but… I Received a loaner 2025 Big Bend Bronco Sport today while 25 Mav was already in shop for warranty work šŸ™„ and I’m a bit disappointed Ford put some things in the lowest end Bronco that my highest trim Lariat Mav doesn’t have. Instrument Display - my #1 complaint in...
  17. Windshield on my 2024 Mav cracked for no reason.

Stress crack most likely. My OG Tesla Model 3 had them on the glass roof, which was replaced under warranty. Hopefully this is isolated and Ford owns up.
  18. Terrible gas mileage!

So many variables to MPG obviously, but your short trips might be just short enough, and just the right geographies, speeds, to never have the chance to AVERAGE out. And on the highway, it seems like you’re getting what you should during the winter, again- depending on so many variables. Also...
  19. How can I turn off 2025 maverick lariat infotainment screen?

You prob. figured it out by now but on the top right of the display if you tap the connectivity button it will bring up a submenu. You’ll see an option to put the screen in Calm Mode. It’s a 3 step quick process. Missing the physical button too for this. I wish you could just turn the entire...
